Yun Ming led Shrek Academy as the Sea God Pavilion Master and was deeply invested in its survival, reputation, and future. When Gula earned the Golden Ancient Tree soul spirit’s recognition, Yun Ming exempted him from further assessment and permitted him to cultivate at the Golden Ancient Tree ahead of schedule. 200

Aware that the plane’s restrictions were blocking his attempt to become a god, Yun Ming confronted Gula over his foreknowledge. He refused to surrender his determination to control his own fate, but hesitated when Gula warned that pursuing godhood without considering the consequences could lead to Shrek Academy’s destruction. 200

Yun Ming later dismantled Gula’s mass illusion over more than sixty students and exposed Gula’s Spirit Abyss Realm Peak spiritual power. Warning of Shrek’s Destruction

When Yun Ming sensed an approaching crisis around Shrek, he sought Gula’s information. In exchange for the truth, he gave Gula a drop of Origin Blood Essence, his experience in constructing a divine position, and three fully powered Heavenly Azure Spear attacks for recording. 393

Gula revealed that Qiangu Dongfeng, the Holy Spirit Cult, and forces within the Federation planned to attack Shrek City with two Class Twelve God-Slaying Soul Guided Cannon Shells. Yun Ming responded by publicly leaving Shrek and attempting to reform the academy’s entrenched rules, hoping to reduce the threat and protect its students. The Sea God Pavilion could not agree on meaningful reforms, and his effort failed to stop the conspiracy. 393 394

Shrek City Catastrophe

During the destruction of Shrek City, Yun Ming shattered his half-perfected godhood and severed his life-sharing contract with Ya Li to transfer his Life Energy to her. He then merged with the Heavenly Azure Spear and destroyed the second God-Slaying cannon shell in a suicidal attack. 440

Alice’s ability enabled Yun Ming and Ya Li to form the Martial Soul Fusion Skill Spear Angel. Their bond and Ya Li’s faith power briefly restored Yun Ming to True God-level strength, allowing him to pursue and severely pressure Ghost Emperor. 441 442
