"Cifer! Are we going on a grand adventure now?!"
On the second day after leaving Drum Island, Chopper had already grown familiar with the three of them. He yearned for the world Hiruluk had spoken of.
What unknown things awaited him ahead? What kind of scenery lay beyond the sea?
"Adventure? I suppose so."
Cifer scratched his head. There seemed to be almost nothing in this world that could count as an adventure to him.
Still, for the pirates out at sea, his voyage truly counted as a grand adventure.
"What kind of adventure is Chopper looking forward to?"
Nolan hugged him from behind and held him in her arms. Ever since Chopper had joined the ship, she had become much brighter as well.
After all, the other two were monsters.
"What kind of adventure..."
Chopper pondered.
"We'll go to lots and lots of different places, see lots of different scenery, and maybe challenge lots of powerful enemies too, right?"
"Pfft~"
When he voiced his understanding of adventure, Nolan failed to hold back her laughter.
"Chopper got the last part wrong~"
"It should be that lots of seemingly powerful people might come challenge us!"
She rubbed Chopper's soft belly, reminding him that their captain was an unparalleled powerhouse.
"Cifer and Enel are both amazing... Nolan must be really strong too, right?"
Chopper's innocent, pure gaze and his certain words were like a knife stabbed into her scar.
Since coming aboard, she had tried going to the training room to work out with Big Brother Enel.
Yet she discovered that he spent most of his time sitting in meditation with his eyes closed. On rare occasions, he seemed to become overly confident and would go challenge Captain Cifer to a fight.
The result was always the same: he got beaten black
