Chaos Void Cavern, the Future of the Mountain-Sea Three Realms (Part Two)

The mortal realm.

In the blessed land of Lingyou Prefecture, at Faxiu's Jinhua Mountain.

The deep, melodious toll of a Dao bell rang out across Lingyou Prefecture and the surrounding regions. At the same time, every Jinhua Mountain disciple received a message through their jade token.

Disciples scattered across the land hurried back to the mountain.

Nine tolls of the bell meant something of grave importance to the sect was about to happen.

Since the calamity in the Netherworld began, Jinhua Mountain's cultivators had spread far and wide, bringing peace to their regions and exterminating evil.

From the scourge of ghosts and gods spilling into the mortal realm, to Rahu unleashing the calamity, to Jinhua Mountain's cultivators entering the Netherworld, and finally to the battle between Rahu and Li Yang that engulfed the entire Mountain-Sea Three Realms.

Throughout that calamity, wherever disaster struck the Mountain Sea Realm, Jinhua Mountain cultivators could be found holding the line and protecting the living.

Now, as the bell rang, disciples returned from every direction. They still had no idea what had happened.

Before long, every surviving Jinhua Mountain disciple had gathered before Xuanqing Hall. Jiang Sheng appeared before them.

Wearing a five-petaled lotus crown and a brilliant golden Daoist robe, Jiang Sheng stood before the hall and slowly surveyed the disciples.

They bowed together. "True Lord."

Jiang Sheng nodded. His clear, measured voice reached every disciple's ears and echoed through Jinhua Mountain:

"The calamity of the Netherworld ravaged the Three Realms. Since the turmoil of ghosts and gods began, mountains and rivers have been shattered, and living beings have suffered. Beneath the calamity, the Mountain Sea Realm nearly saw earth overturned and heaven toppled."
