The Buzhou World arc had concluded in grand fashion!

This arc could be considered Lin Yuan's rehearsal for the Nine Provinces Investiture of the Gods war, right?

I mentioned before that the Tianyuan World storyline served as a bridge between what came before and what came after.

It built upon the Mountains and Seas: Ghosts and Gods Arc as groundwork, then opened the way for the Nine Provinces Investiture Arc, driving the merger of the myriad heavens and worlds.

From the very beginning, what Lin Yuan planned was the Mountains and Seas arc: to draw back the curtain on the story of ghosts and gods, reveal the Investiture of the Gods from the side, and then bring forth the return of the myriad heavens and worlds.

The Tianyuan arc exposed internal problems within the Mystic Gate, while portraying the Demon Race, the Buddhist sect, the Divine Path, and so on, preparing for the coming Mystic Gate war.

And the Nine Provinces arc would be the outbreak of the Mystic Gate war, as well as the beginning of the merger of the myriad heavens and worlds.

In this Nine Provinces arc, beyond the Mystic Gate, the Divine Path, unorthodox sects, demon spirits and nature spirits, gods and devils of the myriad heavens, as well as Buddhism and Daoism, would all be swept into it.

Investiture of the Gods would not merely be the Mystic Gate's investiture. Whoever belonged on that list, none would escape it—whether Mystic Gate or unorthodox sect, demon or devil, Buddhist or otherwise.
