Between two towering jade pillars that reached the heavens hung a magnificent, imposing plaque. Three great characters were written upon it in strokes of azure and gold: Eastern Heaven Gate.
Beneath the palace walls, Heavenly Soldiers and Generals stood rank upon rank along the jade steps, guarding this gateway to the Heavenly Court with solemn vigilance.
This was the route from the eastern Three Realms straight to the Heavenly Court, so many cultivators of the Upper Three Realms passed through. Most belonged to the Eastern Heaven Daoist Sect.
