Background / History

Shao Hao began life as a frail, crippled child living under the name Shi Hao. He had been bullied by servants, poisoned by a Poisonous Flood Dragon, and used as a substitute connected to the real Shi Hao. After his grandfather’s death, Li Yu took responsibility for him and placed him through one hundred mortal reincarnations spanning ten thousand years of lived experience. 552 553

After returning to his body, he rejected the name Shi Hao and chose Shao Hao for himself. Li Yu accepted him as the contemporary successor of the Supreme Hall, granting him the Six Paths Reincarnation Heavenly Skill, the Taotie Treasure Technique, and the Supreme Hall’s heirloom token. 552 553

Shao Hao rapidly overcame his crippled condition, entered the Blood Moving Realm, and began retaliating against servants and Rain Clan agents who had targeted him. He forged the World-shattering Saintly Body from the vitality of his enemies, then used its power to defeat the Rain Clan’s Steward in Green despite the latter’s Cave Heaven Realm cultivation. 553 560 562

The Supreme Hall subsequently assigned him a solitary Great Wilderness expedition. During the journey, Shao Hao tempered himself through constant combat, reached the Blood Moving Realm’s limit, and eventually arrived at Stone Village. There, he met the real Shi Hao, recognized him as his younger brother, and became a member of the village. 563 564 566 567

Appearance

Shao Hao first appeared as a small, crippled child, but the Saintly Body remade him into a physically exceptional cultivator. As he grew, he developed a refined and heroic bearing that even Old Man Hai struggled to reconcile with the child he had once known. 553 560 644

  • Formerly had a crippled leg, which was healed after receiving the Supreme Hall inheritance. 553
  • Possesses jade-like skin, divine-metal-like muscles and bones, and radiant golden blood after forging the Saintly Body. 560
  • Emits an imposing golden blood aura capable of frightening powerful beasts. 565
  • Wore a refined black robe made from materials gathered at Magic Spirit Lake. 607
  • Later wielded a pair of narrow twin blades forged from dragon horns. 701

Personality

A hundred lives of reincarnation gave Shao Hao a calm, restrained temperament far beyond his physical age. He does not become lost in those experiences and treats them as part of his own life, retaining a clear sense of self when he adopts the name Shao Hao. 552

He is resolute about the Supreme Hall’s doctrine of invincibility and views battle as necessary tempering. Shao Hao is merciless toward those who threaten his clan, village, or companions, particularly the Rain Clan and those who slander the Shi Clan’s ancestry. 557 562 667

Despite his severity toward enemies, he is protective and fair-minded. He rejects the Luofu Clan’s ruthlessness, rushes to defend Old Man Hai, supports Stone Village with resources and equipment, and aids people of every race when he encounters ferocious beasts causing harm. 561 566 620 623

Abilities & Skills

  • Reached the level of regeneration from a drop of blood after Kunpeng body tempering. 637
  • Supports later transformations including Myriad Transformations and Heavenly Law Manifestation. 560

Shao Hao later gained and employed multiple True Spirit techniques in addition to the Taotie inheritance. 567 587
