Logan was born in 1832 and has lived for more than 180 years while retaining the appearance of a man in his thirties or forties. His long life has made him a hardened veteran, but it has also left him with extensive trauma. After killing the corrupted Jean Grey at Alcatraz, he suffered recurring nightmares and periods of disorientation. 92 95

Before arriving in Tokyo, Viper secretly implanted a mechanical insect over his heart that suppressed his mutant gene and reduced his healing factor to its lowest point. This left him vulnerable to gunfire and forced him to rely on escape and conventional treatment rather than his usual regeneration. 92 93
