Background
Tang San initially travelled with and deeply admired Master, believing in his reputation and choosing to study under him. He later became increasingly dissatisfied with Master's theories, though he still initially trusted them over Tang Hao's advice. 9 149
He regarded himself as superior to native Soul Masters because he was a transmigrator, possessed the Mystic Heaven Skill, hidden weapons, and twin Spirits. This confidence caused him to dismiss warnings about Su Yu before their first arena duel. 72 80
Su Yu severely burned and disfigured Tang San during that duel, leaving him with a lasting fear of flame. Despite this, Tang San continued forging weapons and training in isolation at Blue Tyrant Academy. 81 123 126
Personality
Tang San is proud, calculating, and intensely competitive. He repeatedly believes his hidden techniques, twin Spirits, or Clear Sky Hammer will allow him to surpass Su Yu, even after defeats demonstrate the gap between them. 72 80 154 160 168
His defeats and Tang Hao's death transform this confidence into obsessive vengeance. He becomes willing to kill, annihilate entire clans, and target even Master—his former teacher—to pursue revenge. 180 182 238 239
He is also persistent and disciplined. After being disfigured, he continues forging refined iron and prepares the King of Hell's Summons; after his Blue Silver Emperor awakening fails, he changes focus to cultivating the Clear Sky Hammer. 123 149
Appearance
Tang San's face was burned black and left disfigured by Su Yu's flame during their Soto City duel. 81 123
- Often seen wielding a massive Clear Sky Hammer. 123 151
