Background
Liu Er is the sixth-ranked member of the Blood Slaughter Dynasty’s imperial clan. His father was a Demon Cultivator and his mother was human; she raised him alone until her death, after which her soul scattered beyond any possibility of resurrection. His mixed heritage eventually manifested through his four ears, exposing him to lasting ridicule and exclusion. 434 521 522
He was trained by an unnamed Demon Cultivator elder who inherited the Blood Slaughter royal legacy and possessed exceptional divination skills. The elder entrusted Liu Er with the Royal Mandate and expected him to rebuild the fallen Blood Slaughter Immortal Kingdom. 473 483
Liu Er’s personal ambition is to establish a place where human–demon mixed-bloods and other ostracized people can live without discrimination. His experiences of poverty, mockery, and political exclusion shaped this goal and his determination to gain military merit. 446 521 522
Appearance
Liu Er is a human–demon hybrid distinguished by four ears, an unmistakable sign of his demon bloodline. 434
- Golden Core-level aura. 432
- Often rides a yellow piebald horse while commanding the Three Generals Camp. 452
- Wields the earth-toned Mystic Yellow Sword, whose blade is earthy yellow with black root-like patterns. 452
Personality
Liu Er is ambitious, patriotic, and deeply sensitive to the contempt directed at his mixed heritage. He regards the Two Injections Country campaign as his chance to earn recognition, build status, and prove that a human–demon hybrid can rise within the orthodox cultivation world. 446 521
He treats Guan Hong and Zhang Hei as genuine brothers and takes responsibility for their safety, camp morale, and long-term prospects. He also values capable people, quickly recognizing Ning Zhuo’s usefulness and later developing sincere admiration for Ning Zhuo’s strategic ability. 470 483 558
His warmth toward Ning Zhuo is complicated by insecurity. Liu Er fears losing his Military Advisor to stronger patrons, privately monitors Ning Zhuo with his talent, and grows jealous when Ning Zhuo becomes close to Mu Lan. This resentment contributes to his poor focus during the White Bone Temple battle. 470 492 496 505
