Background / History

Gen died in his original world after being struck by an out-of-control dump truck and transmigrated into the ninja world thirteen years before his story began. Orphaned young and raised by his grandfather, he grew up in Konoha as a civilian-background student. He is three years older than Naruto Uzumaki and remembers arriving too late to intervene in the Uchiha clan's destruction. 2

For thirteen years, Gen possessed a system but received no beginner reward. After passing Kakashi Hatake's test and securing the system task of becoming Kakashi's sole disciple, he finally opened his beginner gift pack and received a blank Ōtsutsuki bloodline. 2

He cultivated relationships with Might Guy to learn taijutsu and to provide a plausible source for techniques he had acquired.
