Whoosh! The Kaitel Alien swung down with his dagger, but another figure appeared and grabbed his arm, stopping him.
It was a man in a brown top, with a stiff, expressionless face.
Chris Maya thought reinforcements had arrived, but Lucia beside her could not stop trembling, terror flooding her eyes.
This man was the Mokujin Alien in disguise!
He was currently warning the Kaitel Alien in the cosmic language, saying that Lucia was his prey and telling him not to interfere.
But how could the bloodthirsty Kaitel Alien care about that? He drove an elbow straight into the Mokujin Alien.
"They're fighting each other!" the battlefield reporter Kishida exclaimed from afar.
Since Chris Maya had not been pushed into a desperate situation just now, Mamoru Shirogane had told him to wait for the main force to arrive before acting together.
Qi Ming's voice came through the communications channel. "How's the fight going? We'll be there soon."
Kishida said, "About even."
The Kaitel Alien had a weapon, while the Mokujin Alien was unarmed, putting him at a disadvantage.
Kishida hoped the two aliens would fight to the death so he could reap the benefits, but unfortunately, neither of them was stupid.
When they saw that neither side could gain the upper hand, they chose a truce.
In the end, both sides compromised. Lucia had to be killed by the Mokujin Alien himself, and he would take her handcuffs back as proof of a successful hunt. As for everyone else, he did not care whether they lived or died.
The two aliens charged forward together. The Kaitel Alien intended to cut off Chris Maya's head, while the Mokujin Alien targeted Lucia.
Qi Ming arrived at the critical moment. A flying kick struck the Kaitel Alien in the abdomen, and he rolled through the air before delivering an inch punch to the Mokujin Alien, knocking both aliens back at once.
"Grr..." The Kaitel Alien clutched his abdomen and glared viciously at Qi Ming. He had suffered badly at this man's hands last time and had always wanted payback.
Qi Ming looked back at Chris Maya and Lucia behind him. Once he saw that they were unharmed, he faced the Mokujin Alien.
"Though it's rather rude of you to enter Earth without saying hello, you had no intention of invading, and you haven't caused too much trouble."
"So if you're willing to leave now, we won't pursue the matter."
"But he's different. He has taken lives on Earth. He must die!"
As he finished speaking, Qi Ming pointed at the Kaitel Alien, thoroughly enraging him and causing him to lunge forward.
"Let's settle the score between us!" Yamanaka darted out from behind Qi Ming, firing both pistols and pouring firepower onto the Kaitel Alien.
The latter tried to dodge, but Yamanaka's shots never missed. The trajectories locked tightly onto his evasive movements, striking him again and again and kicking up showers of sparks.
After taking a volley, the Kaitel Alien was forced to the ground. Before he could steady himself, another round of fire struck him from behind.
Kishida and Nagi Saijo emerged along their predetermined route with Victory Hyper Guns in hand, surrounding the Kaitel Alien.
"Pay the price!" Nagi Saijo looked at the Kaitel Alien with icy eyes, determined to personally end the mistake she had caused.
Though the Mokujin Alien had not been attacked, he was also within the encirclement.
His gaze fixed on Lucia like a venomous snake's. Clearly, he had no intention of giving up the prey already in his grasp.
Looking at Qi Ming standing before Lucia and Chris Maya, the Mokujin Alien and the Kaitel Alien exchanged glances at the same time.
