Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel's Passage!
Inside the Black Bulls' castle, Finral took out his Clover Grimoire and opened a spatial gate.
George and Yami stepped through the gate, arriving directly at the grand arena in the royal capital, which was specially used for the Magic Knights' entrance examination.
"His control is pretty good."
After spending the past few days together, George had gained a more detailed understanding of the squad members.
While he was at it, he had also studied the magic of every member, including Captain Yami.
So how had he, as someone who had only just joined the squad, managed to obtain everyone's information so quickly?
And how had he made them trust him enough to willingly demonstrate their magic for George to study?
There was naturally a reason for that.
All it took was a slight use of The Fool's authority to plant a few psychological suggestions, along with some persuasive wording.
Finral Roulacase came from the Borde Family, a famous noble house of the kingdom.
That family was renowned throughout the world for its offensive spatial magic.
Finral had originally been the family's heir and future head, but because he neither wanted to hurt others nor be beaten himself, his family considered him a disgrace.
Furthermore, his spatial magic was not offensive magic, but a transport type with no attack power whatsoever, fit only for support.
Thus, the family heir became his younger brother, who was now the vice-captain of the Golden Dawn.
However, despite being born a noble, Finral had the best temperament in the squad.
He was one of the earliest members to join, yet he had none of a senior's airs. He was just rather lecherous and particularly fond of women.
Still, he was the type with plenty of lust but no courage.
