Background / History

The Silver Dragon King was created when the Asura God split the Dragon God during the Dragon God War. She inherited the Dragon God's wisdom, elemental authority, and control over the elements, while the Golden Dragon King inherited the greater share of physical strength. The Golden Dragon King was sealed in the Forbidden Land of Gods, whereas she escaped the God Realm through the Space-Time Turbulence and reached Douluo Continent. 130

Too severely wounded to fight, she concealed herself at the Lake of Life in the Star Dou Great Forest and slept for countless years while healing. Dī Tiān guarded her throughout this period and carried the practical burden of protecting the Soul Beast clan. Her purpose was to recover fully and lead Soul Beasts and dragons against their decline. 130

The Heavenly Curtain's review exposed both her survival and a projected future in which her human identities, Gu Yue and Na'er, develop separate wills. Gu Yue initially approaches Tang Wulin to complete a wager with Na'er and seize the Golden Dragon King's power, but both personalities ultimately develop feelings for him. 130 131

The projected future also shows her choosing Tang Wulin over the Soul Beasts' cause, eventually dying with him after their final conflict. This decision severely disappoints Dī Tiān and the other Fierce Beasts, who believe it abandons the responsibility she bears as Soul Beast progenitor. 132 133
