Background / History

Lu Yu spent eighteen years living alone in a secluded mountain village after transmigrating to the Douluo Continent. Unable to awaken a Martial Soul, he avoided the outside world until the Appraisal System appeared and gave him a way to change his fate. His first review targeted Bibi Dong, projecting a golden Heavenly Curtain across the continent and publicly exposing her history. 1

The successful Bibi Dong review granted Lu Yu the God-level Myriad Soul Banner and Innate Soul Power Rank 10. He immediately continued his reviews, treating the system’s rewards as the foundation of his cultivation path. 6

For much of his early rise, Lu Yu remained secluded and concentrated on producing reviews rather than intervening in conflicts over resources such as the Immortal Herbs. After becoming a Soul Sage and gaining confidence that he could fight Title Douluo, he left Lonely Village to enter the wider world. 40 110
