Background / History

Xu Yuexian trained under Xu Fan together with her elder brother, Xu Gang. During one of Xu Fan's illusion-based combat assessments, the siblings fought cooperatively against demon beasts. Xu Yuexian distinguished herself through agility and precision, complementing Xu Gang's developing battle awareness. 44

Before Xu Fan departed aboard the Floating Sky Vessel, Yuexian and Xu Gang were reluctant to part from their master but accepted his decision. Xu Fan left both disciples with magic artifacts to support their cultivation and safety. 45

She later returned from a mission with Lightning-Struck Willow Wood. The material allowed Xu Fan to obtain a Lightning Rune, while Yuexian herself was noted to have improved her Light-Shadow Concealment Art and received a life-saving spiritual pill from him. 61

Yuexian discovered a secret realm containing a lake of Spiritual Liquid, numerous thousand-year-old spiritual herbs, ruins, and a Golden Core demon beast. She brought the discovery to Xu Fan, who questioned her closely about its dangers and preparation requirements. 69

Xu Yuexian is adventurous and ambitious. She hopes to explore the Endless Sea after reaching the Integration Stage, though Xu Fan criticized her slow progress and urged her to concentrate on Daoist cultivation first. 349
