Background & History

Su Rantian was born the daughter of a ninth-grade sect leader in the Central Continent. When a Great Devil Cultivation Sect destroyed her home, a severely wounded Inner Sect Elder escaped with the ten-year-old Su Rantian, entrusted both her and the sect treasury to the Elder Council, and then died. The inheritance left her extraordinarily wealthy, including a Star Vessel, two Sea Vessels, and annual returns envied even by Mahayana cultivators. 177

She became the direct disciple of Venerable Yantian, the Elder Council's eighth elder. Her cultivation method originates from the Immortal World and is tied to the Dao of Hundred Desires; Yantian warns that yielding fully to emotion could invalidate her previous cultivation. 189 279

Su Rantian first met Li Xingci after commissioning him to design a secluded courtyard. Impressed by his work and deeply attracted to him, she rewarded him with a storage bag of spirit stones and intended to reside at Hidden Spirit Sect after handling Elder Council affairs. 177 She later arrived at the sect as an Integration Stage cultivator and expressed interest in staying permanently. 185

Her pursuit of Li Xingci was initially intense and unwanted. During a journey near the Heavenly Devil Sect, Su Rantian and Li Xingci were thrown into an energyless Void Realm. Their cultivation bases and spatial treasures became unusable, and Su Rantian became pregnant while they were stranded.
