Quest for immortality

Sun Changsheng spent a century seeking the Immortal Path, surviving innumerable dangers and “dying” more than a hundred times before he finally received a cultivation method. While living on an island under Zhou Yi's instruction, he received the name Sun Changsheng and listened to daily scripture lectures. 335

The Supreme Longevity Inscriptions produced annotations in his mind, allowing him to comprehend the Evergreen Art. His exceptional foundation enabled an immediate breakthrough into Qi Refining, followed by rapid advancement through higher realms. 335

Return to Monkey Mountain

After cultivating overseas, Sun Changsheng returned to Monkey Mountain and challenged its Silverback Giant Ape leader for authority. He froze the ape in midair with a spoken command, won the clan's submission, and was acclaimed as Great King. He named the former leader Sun Dali and promised to teach him body-refinement methods. 336

He founded Longevity Temple, built it by manipulating clouds, stone, and earth, and began daily lectures for the Monkey Clan. Over a century, the monkeys adopted Daoist robes and customs, cultivated under his guidance, and produced multiple Foundation Establishment and Golden Core demon cultivators. 336

A fleeing Blood Bear Demon died within Monkey Mountain's array, and its remnant soul merged with Sun Changsheng. This incident awakened the Blood River Sutra within him and caused him to question whether his origin was tied to the Demonic Path. 336

Flight from the Celestial Court

Jiazi Star Lord Ao Kun investigated Monkey Mountain over suspicions that Sun Changsheng had privately transmitted cultivation methods. Sun concealed the populated mountain with his array and claimed that his inheritance came from his bloodline rather than a teacher. 336 337

When the Celestial Court's prohibition on private transmission made Monkey Mountain unsafe, Sun Changsheng evacuated the Monkey Clan and sought advice from Yellow Ox. During an Eastern Emperor's celebration, Sun discovered an Arhat Relic being forcibly refined in the Ministry of Revenue's Immortal Pill Hall. Drawn into the furnace, he fused with the Arhat inheritance and his 48,000 Blood God Clones, attaining the Human Immortal Realm through Buddha-Devil unity. 344

The Celestial Court subsequently framed him for releasing demons from the Heavenly Prison. Realizing that the prison breakout and his ordeal had been arranged, Sun Changsheng turned against the court, destroyed many True Gods, and confronted the Heavenly Emperor. 345 346

Later activities

Four hundred years after the Celestial Court upheaval, Sun's 48,000 Blood God Doppelgangers had each advanced to approximately the Nascent Soul stage. He also recovered the Blood Demon Child's former supreme treasure, the Bloodthirsty Pearl. 351

Sun later accepted Yang Xuan into the Longevity lineage on his master's behalf, transmitting the Blood Essence Martial Path to him despite Yang Xuan's lack of a Spirit Root. 359
