Background / History
Hansenelton was once a promising Sigmaian Cosmic Gladiator and a rival of Bashar before the latter rose to become the Sigma Civilization’s Golden Gladiator-level Absolute Ruler. During a seventeen-year Arena combat, Hansenelton’s reckless teammates provoked a seemingly harmless inn waiter and were killed. Left alone, he hid in the Rotten Stone Zen Monastery under the Buddhist name “Precaution,” trained for years, and eventually eliminated the opposing gladiator team through traps, factional schemes, and exploitation of their weaknesses. 101
When he returned to Sigma Star, fifty years had passed there. Bashar had become the Absolute Ruler, many of Hansenelton’s elders had died, and his wife had died from longing for him. Her preserved egg was later gestated in an artificial womb and became Roxstar. Hansenelton subsequently devoted most of his life to his son and adopted near-pathological caution as his primary survival principle. 101
He became known as the Silver Medalist, the strongest Sigmaian beneath Bashar. Despite the title’s prestige, Hansenelton resented its implication that he was permanently second place. 32 101
Appearance
Hansenelton is a scaled Sigmaian whose anger is marked by terrifying crimson eyes, heavy breathing, and steam rising from his body. 32 122
- Crimson eyes capable of projecting an intimidating glare. 32
- Scaled body, beneath which he can restrain silver-white flames. 122
- Uses highly convincing disguises when entering hostile worlds. 104
Personality
Hansenelton is intensely cautious, analytical, and suspicious. His seventeen-year ordeal in an unfamiliar combat plane taught him that overwhelming strength does not guarantee survival; since then, he has preferred preparation, intelligence gathering, deception, and contingency plans over direct confrontation. 101
He is also a skilled but often overzealous investigator. He uses records, behavioral clues, interrogation techniques, and psychological reactions to construct elaborate theories. This intelligence becomes a weakness when he mistakes his own deductions for certainty—most notably when he concludes that Zhou Yulin is Zhou Zhe’s beloved son and that Jing Nanbei is the Saint Mang Plane’s Child of the Plane. 32 112
Roxstar’s death exposes Hansenelton’s vindictive and paternal side. He is willing to spend rare resources, risk Dao-imposed consequences, and cooperate with unreliable allies for a chance to kill Zhou Zhe or revive his son. 48 50 120
Abilities & Skills
Psionic Combat
Hansenelton can manifest psionic power as invisible cutting and crushing force.
- Expands a psionic domain to slaughter groups of Dark Corpses. 105
- Forms invisible psionic hand-blades that bisect targets. 105
- Uses psionic force through physical strikes, including devastating leg-axe attacks. 105
- In the Saint Mang Plane, suppression limits him mainly to mental-power-related abilities, normally reducing his output to Bronze Five Stars; his desperate limit reaches Silver One Star. 100
Fist Intent
A technique learned from an immortal cultivation plane, used for mobility and direct combat.
- Can wrap his body in Fist Intent and fly. 100
- Condenses ranged fist prints capable of meeting Zhou Zhe’s blade strikes. 121
- Uses rapid, mountain-suppressing punches to pressure opponents at close range. 121
Heart-Questioning Technique
A transcendent interrogation skill that probes a target’s character and mental state.
- Habitually uses it on unfamiliar people before lowering his guard. 103
- Its feedback convinced him that Jing Nanbei was a selfless Saint Mang official rather than Zhou Zhe in disguise. 104
- Can be paired with behavioral observation to assess fear, panic, and deception. 111
Lie To Me and the True Name Effect
Hansenelton supplements mental probing with a skill designed to analyze involuntary physical responses.
- Uses a target’s reaction to a suspected true name—muscle movement, bone motion, and micro-expressions—to test their identity. 110
- Treats the method as evidence rather than absolute proof, having encountered enemies with multiple layers of false identities. 111
Ultimate Killing Move
Hansenelton possesses an unnamed ultimate technique represented by silver-white flames.
- Requires a lengthy charge period before release. 122
- Leaves him exhausted after use regardless of whether it kills the target. 122
- He abandons its release against Zhou Zhe after fearing a mutual-destruction outcome and betrayal by Zhou Che. 122
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Bronze Puppet — A puppet through which Hansenelton attached his soul and attacked Zhou Zhe indirectly while assisting Wenren Yi. 48
- Borrowed spatial item — Borrowed from Bashar to abduct Zhou Yulin and transport him to Sigma Star. 32
- Purple tortoise shell — An Immortal Dao World defensive item that had saved Hansenelton repeatedly; Zhou Zhe’s repeated saber strikes shattered it. 123
- Sand Demon Fruit — His sole high-grade recovery item; instantly restored his injuries and strength after his fight with Zhou Che. 119
- Fate Replacement Card · Situ — A causality-based trump card meant to alter Zhou Zhe’s fate; it instead elevated Zhou Zhe’s luck and fate. 126 127
Relationships
- Roxstar — His son. Roxstar’s death drives Hansenelton’s war against Zhou Zhe; Hansenelton is willing to lose everything for a chance to revive him. 31 48
- Zhou Zhe — Sworn enemy and Roxstar’s killer. Hansenelton repeatedly investigates, threatens, hunts, and ultimately duels him. 32 82 127
- Bashar — Former rival who became Sigma’s Absolute Ruler. Hansenelton borrowed Bashar’s spatial item, while Roxstar’s soul crystal remained in Bashar’s possession. 32 48 101
- Zhou Yulin — Zhou Zhe’s relative whom Hansenelton wrongly identified as Zhou Zhe’s beloved son; he abducted Zhou Yulin to Sigma Star as revenge. 32
- Wenren Yi — Allied with Hansenelton during her battle against Zhou Zhe; he supported her through his bronze puppet. 48
- Jing Nanbei — Zhou Zhe’s Saint Mang disguise. Hansenelton initially treats him as a valuable superior and eventually suspects he is the Plane’s Child of the Plane. 104 112
- Lan Gang — Initially interrogated by Hansenelton in Frozen Screen City; later regarded as an obstacle to his advancement and plans. 103 106
- Zhou Che — Temporary ally in the “Kill Zhou Zhe Alliance.” Hansenelton never trusts him and fears betrayal throughout their cooperation. 120 122
Story Role / Major Arcs
Revenge for Roxstar
After Roxstar is killed by Zhou Zhe, Hansenelton appears as a Silver Gladiator seeking vengeance. He investigates Zhou Zhe’s Earthly contacts through Silver Gladiator authority and Gladiator Point expenditure, then abducts Zhou Yulin based on the false conclusion that Zhou Yulin is Zhou Zhe’s son. 31 32
Hansenelton later aids Wenren Yi through a bronze puppet, hoping her victory will kill Zhou Zhe without violating the Dao’s restrictions against directly attacking him. He admits that reviving Roxstar is impossible while Bashar possesses Roxstar’s soul crystal. 48
War Letter and Saint Mang Combat
Hansenelton issues a War Letter and challenges Zhou Zhe to a mandatory duel. He enters the Arena early to prepare, only to find his strength heavily suppressed by the Saint Mang Plane’s laws. 50 82 95 100
The combat’s special rules award Twist Contribution for changing Saint Mang’s fate. Hansenelton attempts to counter Zhou Zhe’s growing score by fighting the Dark Corpses and integrating himself into Frozen Screen City’s Supervision Department. His promotions from Captain to Wheel Leader to Director increase his own contribution, but also deepen his mistaken belief that Jing Nanbei is Saint Mang’s destined protagonist. 104 106 111 112
Kill Zhou Zhe Alliance and Death
After mistakenly attacking Zhou Che, Hansenelton wastes his Sand Demon Fruit and reluctantly forms the temporary “Kill Zhou Zhe Alliance” with him. 119 120
The alliance fails when Zhou Zhe wins the Twist Contribution settlement, 125:30, and gains Saint Mang Adaptation Power. With his suppression removed, Zhou Zhe destroys Hansenelton’s tortoise-shell defense and overwhelms him with repeated uses of Azure Thunder Shakes the Nine Heavens. 122 123
Hansenelton’s final Fate Replacement Card instead improves Zhou Zhe’s fate. Zhou Zhe then uses Bright Pool Lotus Art and Azure Thunder Shakes the Nine Heavens to erase Hansenelton completely, leaving no body, soul, or cells behind. 127
Notable Quotes
“The feeling of losing a loved one, I will make you experience it tenfold, a hundredfold!” 32
“If I can revive Roxstar, I'll do it even if it means losing everything I own.” 48
“Zhou Zhe, you thought you had won for sure? Do you think I would have sent a War Letter so casually without making thorough preparations?!” 126
Trivia
- Hansenelton considers broadcast gladiator matches embarrassing and rarely interacts with viewers, a decision that leaves him at an informational disadvantage against Zhou Zhe. 125
- His most dangerous deductions are frequently built on correct observations but incorrect assumptions about family bonds, destiny, or identity. 32 112
- He once believed absolute caution was the only reliable path to survival in the Cosmic Arena. 101
