Zul'Aman was located in the southeastern part of Silvermoon Forest, which in future history would be known as Eversong Woods by the High Elves.

The troll city, however, was a stark contrast to the beautiful, golden forest: its architecture was rough and crude, adorned with bone spikes and rough wooden sheds. Countless giant wooden carvings and voodoo masks hung from the city walls and branches. The main structures were built from dark green or dark yellow stone blocks, which Hu Feng found remarkably similar to the Mayan pyramids of his past life.

Amani Troll scouts had long since discovered the allied forces. The Amani Trolls were now fully prepared. Their leader, Zul'jin, and Warlock Lord Malakkas stood on a high platform made of dark green giant stones, looking with stern expressions at the human army as it formed its ranks.

Their war with those long-eared folk had already lasted for countless years, a constant back-and-forth where neither side could gain a decisive advantage. But now, with the elves aided by humans, the Amani Trolls had suffered repeated losses and their territory had shrunk again and again. Now, the enemy's allied forces had advanced directly to the gates of Zul'Aman.

Enemies meeting, eyes burning with hatred. There was no pre-battle taunting or duels between champions as seen on Earth. As soon as the human army's catapults were ready, they immediately launched a deluge of iron balls and magically flaming stones towards Zul'Aman. Mages began casting spells, and rangers loosed their deadly arrows. The Amani Trolls immediately retaliated, launching various javelins, crude arrows, and voodoo magic from the city walls towards the allied forces.

This kind of warfare, a mix of cold weapons and magic, continued for a long time. The trolls, relying on their city walls, defended with ease.

"Mage Corps, heed my command!" Merith stood on a high platform behind the formation, which served as the mages' casting ground. "Prepare for a mental link! Unleash Flamestrike together!"

A massive magical array immediately appeared beneath the feet of the human mages. Silver magical lights appeared on their bodies, connecting the hundred human mages like threads, all converging on Merith Winterwind. At this moment, Merith was radiating terrifying magical power. The elven mages frequently glanced his way. They had used mental links before, but few could wield them as effortlessly as Merith. The mental pressure could easily lead to a breakdown, turning a person into a drooling imbecile.

"Feel the power of Arathor, trolls!" Merith raised his staff, and a thick torrent of flames shot into the sky, eventually pouring down like a rain of fire into Zul'Aman, burning fiercely on the ground.

The elven mages also desperately unleashed destructive spells, focusing their attacks on the section of the city wall that was enduring the baptism of fire. The city wall in that area began to show cracks at a visible rate, then slowly collapsed.

A low horn blast sounded. The human army received the order to assault the city. Arathor's soldiers began charging towards the breach, shields raised or running directly. At this moment, an uncomfortable green wave emanated from the city wall. Warlock Lord Malakkas waved his staff, adorned with many skulls. Streams of green voodoo energy flowed down the wall like water, eventually forming pools of green venom at the breach, continuously spewing forth deadly green poison.

"Fall back! Fall back!" After a brief moment of panic, the human army regained control of its formation and slowly retreated. This siege attempt had failed.

At this moment, several elven mages let out screams. They had been struck by the voodoo curses of the troll witch doctors. The sudden, intense pain instantly incapacitated these mages. Hu Feng floated silently in the rear, observing the battle without a word. A graceful figure leaped through the trees, rushing forward. Alleria arrived, radiating fierce energy.

"Hu Feng, why aren't you helping? You possess great power but do nothing! Is this the hero of the War of the Ancients!" Alleria shouted, confronting Hu Feng. The two Nightborne behind Hu Feng immediately bared their fangs, their pupils flashing with dangerous arcane light.

Hu Feng waved his hand, stopping the Nightborne, and then looked seriously at the female ranger. "I am not a nanny to you or anyone else. My responsibility is to guide the elves. I will act when I deem it necessary." He then pointed towards the allied forces.

"Although the first assault was repelled, the allied forces are already organizing a second. Moreover, we currently hold the advantage and have suffered no casualties. Those troll witch doctors have suffered heavy losses. I can certainly help you resolve this now, but what about next time? Or the time after that? What about when I return to Kalimdor? Only friendships forged in the fires of war are the strongest alliances. High Elves and humans must truly support each other to have a glorious future."

Alleria stomped her foot fiercely. "Hmph, I can't argue with you. I don't care, if there are casualties, you must act!"

Just as Hu Feng had said, although the allied forces seemed unable to breach the city, their casualties were actually very few. While the voodoo curses were deadly, they were slow to take effect. Soldiers and mages afflicted by the curses were pulled to the rear for purification. At this moment, the allied forces changed their strategy, continuing to have their mages bombard the city walls and interior of Zul'Aman relentlessly, while the human catapults ceaselessly played their stone-throwing game.

The Highborne and Nightborne attacks were even more ferocious. They condensed highly concentrated arcane rays, shooting them towards Zul'Aman and riddling the city walls with holes. Even more terrifying was that these rays continued their trajectory after penetrating the walls, piercing deeper into the city. Many unfortunate souls within the city had their bodies pierced by a steaming great hole, without understanding how.

Hu Feng closely monitored the situation. It wasn't that he didn't want to act; deeper reasons compelled him to wait.

He considered this branch of exiles from the Dath'Remar Sunstrider family as his elven followers, his people. However, the High Elves had many such flaws, such as arrogance, condescension, and a lack of discipline. Although they had been forced to seek help from humans, in their hearts, they still looked down upon humans as a nascent race.

Their self-given name, High Elves, instead of continuing to use the term Highborne, spoke volumes. Therefore, Hu Feng decided to discipline these High Elves, allowing them to truly face their own strength and shortcomings, and to face their human allies, through hardship and the crucible of blood and fire.

The Night Elves and Highborne of Kalimdor also had the flaw of arrogance, but through Hu Feng's long-term, subtle guidance, this inexplicable arrogance had been greatly tempered. The elven society increasingly fostered an atmosphere of progress and exploration, rather than remaining isolated and confined to the World Tree for eternity.

The scene returned to the battlefield. The Amani Trolls were on the verge of collapse, with many sections of their city walls damaged or fallen. Hu Feng decided to add fuel to the fire.

Slowly floating into mid-air, Hu Feng began to exude a violent, purple lightning-like magical aura. Both warring factions immediately noticed him.

"Witch doctors! Concentrate your power and take down that human mage!"

Malakkas roared, unleashing a barrage of voodoo curses towards Hu Feng in the air. Immediately, a vast array of various voodoo spells rained down upon Hu Feng, who offered no resistance. The elven and human allied forces held their breath. Alleria, in particular, wanted to charge to Hu Feng's side, but she was roughly confined in place by several Nightborne using arcane cages.

"What are you doing! Let me out, I'm going to save him! Are you blind!"

Alleria's roar immediately drew mocking glances from the Nightborne. Clearly, they had not forgotten the ranger girl's disrespect to their master just moments ago. "Foolish woman, shut your mouth. Do not apply your shallow understanding to the Master. The Master's magic is invincible!"

Alleria had no time to argue with these Nightborne, anxiously watching Hu Feng, who was completely enveloped by the voodoo light in the sky. However, she soon relaxed.

The voodoo light, which had been blazing moments before, was instantly sucked away like a vortex in the very next second. "Origin of Power, Azeroth's Binder of Magic," this super-artifact staff crafted by the Titans absorbed all the voodoo.

This stunned both sides who were paying attention to Hu Feng. Then, they faintly heard a voice, seemingly from the staff, echo in their minds: "Not enough! Still not enough! I want more food! If you don't give it, I'll kill you all!"

At this moment, Hu Feng released the staff. It began to circle around him, floating freely. Then, it cackled in everyone's minds and unleashed a torrent of various spells towards the trolls: an amplified Arcane Barrage, an enlarged Blizzard, and a Flamestrike that homed in on the trolls and burned them. All of it crashed into Zul'Aman, causing cries of agony.

The human and elven allied forces watched with chills running down their spines, followed by admiration. This was the Divine Emissary's super-artifact staff, possessing its own consciousness. The staff itself was a great mage of unfathomable power.

Hu Feng was also ready. He raised one hand towards Zul'Aman. The rune disk behind him twisted and transformed, expanding into a massive circular energy vortex swirling behind Hu Feng. Then came a terrifying pressure. Hu Feng's eyes flashed wildly with torrents of various energies, and he roared, "Go!"

The energy vortex immediately shot out countless thick beams of arcane, fire, and frost light. The allied forces watched in stunned silence as the city walls of Zul'Aman collapsed and vanished at a visible rate. Then came the city. Zul'Aman was flattened as if crushed by an invisible bulldozer.

"I command everyone, attack! Kill! Kill! Kill!" Hu Feng roared at the stunned allied forces below.

Everyone jolted. The human generals snapped back to reality and immediately organized their soldiers to charge towards the half-ruined city at the fastest possible speed. The mages, led by Merith, hovered and flew rapidly into the city.

"Before sunset, I do not want to see a single living troll!" Hu Feng continued to roar. "Execute my will, or face my wrath!"

Thus, the allied forces, in a state of fervor mixed with a hint of pressure, stormed into Zul'Aman, their eyes red as they began searching for any trolls still alive and kicking.

Well... trolls might be hard to kill, but the Divine Emissary's wrath is surely more terrifying, isn't it?
