  • Lordaeron’s New Aristocrats rejected both Gilnean delegations, refusing Queen Calia’s aid to a kingdom that had abandoned the Northern Alliance.
  • King Genn and Lord Godfrey’s isolationist choices left Gilneas facing its civil war and the Feral Worgen without Lordaeron’s support.
  • The Night Empire’s officers ordered their forces to kill threats and search Gilneas for the Moon Goddess’s Scythe.

Ch. 445Elemental Upheaval and the Wild Gods

Thrall learned from Stone Mother Therazane that N'Zoth was secretly driving powerful elementals toward madness, and he asked Hu Feng to protect the stone elements in exchange for their support of his future role as Earth-Warder. Hu Feng sent Thrall to deal with the corrupted water elementals and assigned the druids to handle the restless fire elements at Mount Hyjal, while ordering Cenarius to wake two sleeping Wild Gods and make them choose a side.

  • Thrall told Hu Feng that N'Zoth was secretly influencing the elements and that Therazane wanted Titan protection for the stone elements.
  • Hu Feng questioned Al'Khan, who reported that the wind elements remained unaffected and loyal.
  • Hu Feng agreed to protect the stone elements if they supported Thrall as Earth-Warder and helped stabilize Azeroth.
  • Thrall reported that Neptulon and nearly all water elementals had fallen under N'Zoth's influence, while fire elements were restless at Mount Hyjal.
  • Hu Feng sent Thrall to deal with the water elementals and told Cenarius that the druids could handle Ragnaros and the fire elements.
  • Hu Feng ordered Cenarius to wake Goldrin and Aviana and warned that the White Tiger could kill them if they refused to choose a side.

  • Ji Fire Palm prepared to blast apart the Skyfire wreckage, but Aysa Cloudsinger objected until Chi-Jing arrived and promised to help restore Shenzhenzi.
  • After the explosives cleared the wreckage, Chi-Jing covered Shenzhenzi’s wound in crimson flames, and healers began treating him as the Crusaders and Windwalker Monks fought the incoming Lizardmen.
  • The Pandaren monks protected the healers, and Shenzhenzi’s injuries began healing rapidly while the monks considered whether to join the Alliance or Horde.
  • The Shaohao Dynasty opened White Tiger Temple in Winterspring as an embassy and future Pandaren capital, with a portal linking it to Pandaria and elite monks stationed there as instructors.
  • Flower-Bird-Wind-Moon appeared at the Eternal Night Palace, and Hu Feng complained that her haunting antics had made the Assembly Hall uninhabitable.

Ch. 447White Tiger Joins the Fray and the Imperialists

The White Tiger visited Mount Hyjal and agreed to give the Wild Demigods time to accept the Empire’s rules before acting against them. In Gilneas, the Night Empire’s search for the Moon Goddess’s Scythe disrupted the civil war, and Genn intensified his attacks on Godfrey’s rebels.

  • Cenarius organized the druids’ campaign from beneath Nordrassil, assigning them to awaken Wild Demigods and clear Fire Elements from Mount Hyjal.
  • The White Tiger met Cenarius and promised to give the Wild Demigods time to choose, while warning that his patience was limited.
  • Secret envoys from the Southern Alliance offered Genn support in exchange for Gilneas joining their alliance, while Godfrey sought Northern Alliance support.
  • The Night Elf Border Guard landed in Gilneas to search for the Moon Goddess’s Scythe and killed envoys sent by Godfrey’s rebels to confront them.
  • The Feral Worgen retreated into the forests as the Night Elves attacked them, allowing Genn to intensify the royal army’s assault on Godfrey’s rebels.

Ch. 448The Great Melting Pot of Society and Choosing Sides

  • Malygos blasted open the Blackwing Circle’s gates as the dragon coalition began its assault.
  • Ji Firepaw and the Fire Gold monks registered with the Horde, while Aysa Cloudsinger and the Water Soil monks chose the Alliance, parting as future enemies.

Ch. 449Justice Incarnate and the Pursuit of Love

The White Tiger forced Goldrinn to serve Sargeras’s war effort, while Cenarius explained the Emperor’s order to awaken the Wild Gods. Argus received one million gold coins from Hu Feng to build a city for disadvantaged races, and Hu Feng went drinking with Azshara after she offered to pay.

  • The White Tiger pinned Goldrinn down, threatened him into serving Sargeras, and told Cenarius to report any Wild Gods who refused to awaken.
  • Cenarius urged Goldrinn to accept the Empire’s rule and explained that every Wild God within its borders had been ordered to wake and work.
  • Hu Feng complained to Argus about awakening the Wild Gods, then learned Argus wanted one million gold coins to build a refuge city in Howling Fjord.
  • Hu Feng reluctantly gave Argus the money, and Argus left to establish a city for disadvantaged races.
  • Azshara visited the grieving Hu Feng, who rejected her pursuit of him, but he agreed to go drinking after she offered to treat him.

Ch. 450Brother and Sister Turn Against Each Other and the Demand for Territory

Onyxia and the Blue Dragon Legion attacked Nefarian’s Blackwing Circle while Argus asked Sylvanas for Howling Fjord to shelter disadvantaged races. Sylvanas granted the territory, and the battle between the black dragons remained unresolved.

  • Nefarian’s Blackwing Circle came under attack from Malygos’s blue dragons and Onyxia’s black dragons, while the defenders were outnumbered and losing ground.
  • Onyxia used a point-blank Deep Breath to badly burn Nefarian, who broke free and retaliated with Shadow Flame.
  • In Howling Fjord, Sylvanas’s Forsaken had converted most of the Vrykul into undead and claimed Utgarde Keep as a military stronghold.
  • Argus arrived at the Frozen Throne and asked Sylvanas to give him Howling Fjord for a protected settlement for disadvantaged races.
  • After consulting Sargeras through a Mental Link, Sylvanas granted Argus the territory.

Ch. 451Naivety or Not

Argus established Sanctuary in Howling Fjord to shelter disadvantaged, peace-loving races, drawing donations and support from across the world. Hu Feng decided to help sustain Argus’s project because it kept him from interfering with the empire, while Argus remained wary of Sargeras and avoided claiming sovereign power.

  • Argus founded Sanctuary at Utgarde Keep, promising disadvantaged races a peaceful home and receiving extensive funding and security support.
  • Hu Feng asked Heklar to assess Argus’s actions, and Heklar called the project childish but said Argus’s power could make it real.
  • Hu Feng ordered Heklar to support Sanctuary so Argus would remain occupied with his new order instead of meddling in the empire.
  • Hu Feng reasoned that Sanctuary could eventually serve the empire as a labor force and affiliated organization while improving its public image.
  • Argus stayed in Howling Fjord rather than returning to Kalimdor, expressing his distance from Sargeras by avoiding the creation of a nation or a monopoly on power.
