Arc 17The Fall of the Lich King
Hu Feng became a Titan and confronted Argus over the Pantheon’s absolute order while Azeroth’s forces advanced on Icecrown. The Lich King fell, Sylvanas took control of the Scourge, and the expedition withdrew as the story turned toward new duties and threats.
- Vol'jin persuaded Zul'jin to join the Horde in exchange for support rebuilding Zul'Aman and protection from the Alliance, while Theramore joined the Northern Alliance.
- Tirion Fording and the Northern Expeditionary Force fought through Icecrown, and Hu Feng pursued the Lich King through the Soul Forge and fortress halls before he escaped.
- Hu Feng was born as Titan's Dawn, affirmed his humanity, and prepared for Argus's arrival while Azeroth's forces continued the campaign.
- Hu Feng met Argus and challenged his faith in the Pantheon, then showed him life in Lordaeron, Ironforge, Gnomeregan, and Orgrimmar until Argus chose to experience Azeroth as a mortal.
- Hu Feng ordered safeguards against timeline threats as the Death Star neared completion, while Sylvanas forced Deathwhisper and the San'layn to submit to her.
- Tirion's champions and their allies shattered Frostmourne, freed its souls, and helped Pamela kill the Lich King as Terenas cradled Arthas in his final moments.
- Terenas entrusted Lordaeron to Calia, and Sylvanas claimed Icecrown before Hu Feng gave her purified Frostmourne and a transformed Helm of Domination.
- Sylvanas summoned the Scourge to Icecrown Glacier, the expedition withdrew, and the Forsaken reorganized the citadel as Thrall began stepping away from politics.
