History

Shizuka first appears as Tsukikawa Shu's Japanese-language teacher and the advisor of the Service Club. Concerned that Yukino Yukinoshita's abrasive personality could derail a joint mixer event, she pressures Shu into joining the effort as someone capable of keeping Yukino in check. 9 10

When she is drawn into the Inner World, Shizuka arrives unprepared and is forced to rely on Shu and Goto Hitori. The danger of the ruined city and the repeated disappearance of players' pleas for help quickly impress upon her that survival requires immediate action. Though uncomfortable at depending on her student, she accepts Shu's training plan and fights through exhausting monster hunts. 13 14 16

After reaching a sufficient level for dungeon exploration, Shizuka awakens as a Fighter. She becomes Shu's wife and a core member of his team, while keeping their relationship hidden at school; her embarrassment around him contrasts with her continued insistence on maintaining order in the classroom. 19 23 29

Shizuka later places Shu in the Service Club to preserve its required membership and to facilitate cooperation with Yukino and Yui Hama. She repeatedly encourages him to build relationships with potential allies, arguing that expanding the group is necessary for survival and growth in the Inner World. 29 32 87

As Shu's group gains influence, Shizuka helps propose rebuilding the Elite Committee under Fujiwara Chika's leadership.
