Background

Nijika is a member of Kessoku Band and a close friend of Goto Hitori. When Hitori first claimed to have a boyfriend, Nijika refused to believe her and warned that the band would protect her if anyone tried to exploit her. She later invited the supposed boyfriend to Kessoku Band’s performance, while privately fearing that Hitori might bring a dangerous stranger as a fake date. 9 25

At the performance, Nijika saw Tsukikawa Shu with Hitori and accepted that he was real. However, Hitori’s public intimacy with Shu made Nijika jealous and suspicious; she resolved to investigate him, convinced he was taking advantage of her socially anxious friend. 57 58

Her concern escalated after she witnessed Shu with Yui Hama. Nijika confronted Hitori over what she considered cheating, confessed that she had feelings for Hitori, and later directly demanded that Shu leave Hitori alone. 99 100 After apologizing to Hitori, she learned that the Inner World was real and that Hitori’s relationship with Shu was tied to survival and development there. 102

Appearance

Nijika has golden hair worn in a side ponytail and a distinctive yellow, triangular ahoge. 121

  • Fair-skinned with a slender build. 111
  • Usually carries drumsticks as Kessoku Band’s drummer. 57
  • Uses a magic wand or staff as her primary Inner World weapon. 110 114

Personality

Nijika is protective, outspoken, and inclined to take responsibility for Hitori’s well-being. Her protectiveness can become possessive: she follows Hitori, investigates Shu, and initially interprets every sign of his relationships as evidence that Hitori is being harmed. 58 96 103

In the Secret Realm, Nijika begins questioning appeals to the “bigger picture” after recognizing that other players use them to demand her labor and resources while offering little in return. She grows more pragmatic and independent, choosing to prioritize her own survival and development rather than serve as a passive support unit for stronger-seeming teams. 108 114

She is also cheerful, domestic, and competitive. Nijika takes pride in cooking and housekeeping, enjoys teasing banter with Shu, and reacts strongly when others underestimate her Priest class. 116 118 122

Abilities & Skills

Priest Class

Nijika was assigned the Support-type Priest profession in the Secret Realm. Although initially treated as a conventional healer, her class is built around attack power, self-sustain, summons, and offensive magic. She retained the profession, its skills, and its traits after the Secret Realm ended. 106 107 119

  • Her healing output rises with her attack power. 107 110
  • Can restore health to herself or teammates while dealing damage. 107 156
  • Developed into a melee-oriented combat Priest under Shu’s instruction rather than a back-line healer. 110

Bloodletting

Bloodletting converts damage dealt to an enemy into healing equal to 100% of the enemy’s lost HP for Nijika or a chosen ally. It unlocked at Level 15. 108 109

  • Lets her recover health through aggressive attacks. 109 118
  • Offsets the self-damage of Crimson Blood Limit during extended combat. 118
  • Enables her to sustain herself while fighting in close range. 110

Summon

Summon calls a Quality B Black Stone Giant that obeys Nijika’s commands. 113

  • The giant can deal heavy damage and engage bosses directly. 118
  • It functions only within a range around Nijika and can only be healed by her. 113
  • Her hidden summon trait can activate True Damage and Berserk modes; within her healing range, the familiar’s attack and healing effects are doubled. 107

Poison Heal

Poison Heal converts healing applied to enemies into continuous poison damage. 107 118

  • Used to inflict a worsening poison debuff on the Level 45 giant crocodile boss. 118
  • Turns an ordinary support action into sustained offensive pressure. 118

Crimson Blood Limit

Crimson Blood Limit sacrifices Nijika’s health to grant 200% True Damage. When her HP falls to 20%, her damage rises and she rapidly recovers health, though her HP cannot exceed half its maximum. 107 118

  • Its drawback is largely negated when she continuously attacks with Bloodletting active. 118
  • Allowed her to amplify spells such as Lightning, Fireball, Wind Blade, and Sky Flame to devastating levels. 118

Barrier and Area-of-Effect Magic

Nijika can use offensive spells including Lightning, Fireball, Wind Blade, Shadow Bind, and Explosion. 118 157

  • Sacred Wall creates durable barriers around the team that block incoming attacks. 156
  • Shifted from single-target lightning attacks to area-of-effect spells when facing large numbers of Skeleton Soldiers. 157
  • Her repeated attacks kept the entire group at full health during the Skeleton Soldier battle. 156

Equipment

  • Magic Wand — her primary Priest weapon; upgraded to Rare grade after collecting 100 Werewolf Teeth. 110 114
  • White Night — Rare-grade support weapon that increases attack power by 30%. 116
  • Epic-grade weapon — refined during the Secret Realm before the final boss battle. 117
  • Custom Epic-grade weapon — received for contributing 99% of the damage against the Secret Realm boss. 119
  • Selectable Epic-grade skill — earned alongside her custom Epic weapon after the boss fight. 119

Relationships

  • Goto Hitori — Best friend and Kessoku Band bandmate. Nijika is fiercely protective of Hitori, initially confesses feelings for her, and later remains close to her after joining Shu’s group. 100 128
  • Tsukikawa Shu — Initially investigated him as a suspected threat to Hitori. He became her Secret Realm mentor, combat instructor, and eventual contracted partner after Nijika confessed her feelings. 96 108 122 127
  • Ijichi Hoshika — Older sister and owner of the band’s practice venue. Hoshika encourages Nijika to pursue a relationship if she truly wants one. 25 123
  • Yamada Ryo — Kessoku Band bassist and bandmate. Ryo notices Nijika’s suspicious disappearance after her date with Shu. 57 122
  • Kita Ikuyo — Kessoku Band vocalist/guitarist and bandmate. Kita questions whether Nijika’s absence was connected to the same boyfriend Hitori was seeing. 57 122
  • Fujiwara Chika, Hiratsuka Shizuka, and Yui Hama — Fellow members of Shu’s group, who welcome Nijika after her contract and later rely on her cooking and combat support. 128 129 150
