Geography and Resources
Dragon Valley begins as a vast canyon with varied terrain, sparse vegetation and countless dragon skeletons. It is the burial ground left by the Dragon Clan's battle with the gods 99 100 413.
- Dragon Souls — Cloud-like remnants of fallen dragons drift across its sky. Soul Masters with dragon-type Martial Souls can attract and absorb their energy; the souls can slowly replenish energy within Dragon Valley 99.
- Dragon bones — The remains include those of the Dragon Kings. Some retain enough energy to serve as exceptionally powerful Soul Bones 100 446.
- Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye — Tang Luochuan moves this treasure ground into Dragon Valley, bringing its sentient Immortal Herbs and the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings' souls into the world 163 166 168.
- Dragon Domain — After the world's transformation into the Dragon Realm, this becomes its largest region and the home of countless dragons 487.
History
En Ci first brings Tang Luochuan and Tang Wulin through Dragon Valley's spatial barrier for training. Inside, Luochuan's system grants him ownership and repairs the small world. He meets the Seven Great Dragon Kings' surviving souls, who recognize him as their master 98 99 100.
Dragon Valley becomes a base for Luochuan's companions and subordinates. He reunites its seven Dragon Kings with the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings, then incorporates the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye. Gathering all nine fulfills the Dragon God's final wish and earns him the Dragon God's Inheritance 160 166 168. The Seven Great Old Demons later merge their own small world into Dragon Valley 228 230.
When En Ci returns years later, Dragon Valley has regained vitality and houses dragon souls, the Old Demons, other fierce beasts and the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye. Its former entry and Soul Skill restrictions are gone; Luochuan can grant others access. En Ci cultivates there with the Light Holy Dragon's help and reaches Level 99 in five days 406 407.
After Luochuan becomes a God King, Dragon Valley advances into the true plane known publicly as the Dragon Realm 467 487. It remains his personal spatial world: despite its abundant divine energy, Luochuan does not consider it a suitable replacement for a full God Realm 509.
Uses and Inhabitants
- Cultivation — Dragon Souls provide energy for training. Luochuan's companions regularly cultivate there, often with guidance from dragon clan seniors 99 297 495.
- Soul Spirit selection — At Luochuan's request, the Mountain Dragon King presents Na'er with White Dragon and Silver Dragon souls as possible Soul Spirits 172.
- Dragon Kings — The Nine Great Dragon Kings reside there under Luochuan. The Mountain Dragon King acts as chief steward and guides cultivators including Long Yue 168 172 295.
- Other residents — The Seven Great Old Demons and the sentient Immortal Herbs of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye join the world 166 228 230.
- Travel — Luochuan can bring people into Dragon Valley and use it for spatial travel; he also grants selected companions access of their own 407 421.
