Background / History

Tang Luochuan is a transmigrator and Tang Wulin's elder brother. Before his Martial Soul awakening in Aolai City, he chose to sacrifice twenty years of romantic luck in exchange for a powerful Martial Soul. His Competitive System instead penalized him with twenty thousand years of peach blossom luck, granted him Innate Full Soul Power, and transformed his Martial Soul into the Golden Dragon King. He resolved to protect his family and oppose Great God King Tang 1 2.

After saving the amnesiac Na'er from thugs, Luochuan brought her into the Tang household and treated her as family. He and Tang Wulin then began blacksmithing training under Mang Tian; Luochuan reached Thousand Refinements within three months 6 7.

In Dragon Valley, he raised his Soul Spirit, attained Soul King cultivation, and gained control over the small world. Dragon Valley subsequently became the foundation for his cultivation, forging, allies, and resources 103.

The Tree Elder later recognized Luochuan as Nature's innate Child of Nature, entrusted him with the continent's hope, and blessed him with enhanced recovery, self-healing, counterattack ability, and damage reduction. Facing the looming Abyss Plane invasion, Luochuan became a central figure in the effort to protect the Douluo Continent 269 270.

After reaching Titled Douluo, he defeated and drained most of Tang Hao's power, retaining Tang Hao's soul. He used the resulting strength to prepare for the Abyss Saint Lord and stated his intention to become a god 450 462 466. By the end of the story, he had subdued the Great God Circle's God Kings and established it as his own divine realm 514.

Personality

Luochuan is consistently described as humble, polite, and composed despite the scale of his achievements. He downplays major breakthroughs as luck, declines Muye's offer of formal discipleship, and treats powerful seniors with respect 30 103 435.

He is deeply protective of those close to him. His decisions to shelter Na'er, gift Tang Wulin the Dark Golden Dreadclaw Soul Bone, improve his parents' talents, and assist his companions reflect a strong sense of responsibility toward family and friends 6 63 176.

Although generally gentle, he is decisive toward threats to the Douluo Continent. He openly confronts Tang Hao over the latter's role in Tang San's plan and is willing to imprison the God Kings of the Great God Circle after their surrender 450 514.
