Background / History

The Instructor was assigned to guide and interrogate Restricted Superhuman No. 1002, Ji Minghuan, within Sodalitas Salvifica's facility. He presented himself as gentle, tolerant, and patient, contrasting the Military Officer's brutality in a calculated good-cop/bad-cop arrangement. He claimed that his purpose was to help Ji Minghuan understand and control his alleged Reality Alteration ability. 1

He justified Ji Minghuan's confinement through a Seer's prophecy that Ji would destroy the world. Although he periodically offered information, meetings with Kong Youling, and limited outings, he kept Ji restrained with a Superpower Inhibitor and metal collar while concealing Sodalitas Salvifica's true purpose. 15 156 157

While posing as an instructor, he taught Ji Minghuan about Anecdote Envoys, Exorcists, Mythic-Grade Anecdotes, and the dangers of uncontrolled power. Years before Ji's imprisonment, the Instructor mentally controlled the Exorcist Red Light, forcing him to murder Exorcists and leave evidence implicating Sodalitas Salvifica.
