• Ling Pengyun traded two hundred and fifty spirit veins for Dragon Abyss Flood Dragon King’s help training the Ling Clan’s flood dragons, then released him from his third obligation.
• After the Demon Beast Uprising ended, Ling Pengyun welcomed Zhou Daoyou and two companions back as Guest Elders and prepared White Cloud City for an auction.

• Ling Pengyun refined the Foundation Establishment chapter of the Lingxiao Five Elements Treasure Tome, helped Yan Siyi complete her Five Spirit Roots, and guided Ling Li Ming into Foundation Establishment.
• When the Demon Beast Uprising and Saint Demon Sect invasion threatened the branches, Ling Pengyun protected Mountain Sea Island, mastered the Five Elements Pure Yang Profound Lightning, and returned to find that Ling Xiaoshun had reached the Golden Core realm.

• Yang Qiuyun formed a False Core, and she and Ling Xiaoshun left to establish a Ling Clan branch in the Supreme Buddha Country.
• Ling Lihao broke through to the Golden Core Realm with a top-tier high-grade Golden Core, and Ling Pengyun later prepared the clan for the approaching Demon Beast Uprising.

Ling Pengyun defended Yan Kingdom from the demonic invasion, killed several powerful demon leaders, and secured allies and resources while seeking to qualify for Earth Soul Essence. After gathering forces and funds, he led an assault on the fortified Thousand Stars Valley to hunt the Golden Winged Tiger.

• Ling Pengyun sent Yan Siyi to support the Turtle Control Sect and Heavy Sword Sect, and she negotiated with Mo Ye Old Water Flood Dragon to ease the siege while collecting the sects’ payment.
• Ling Pengyun declined to weaken White Cloud City’s defenses for Pure Heart Daoist Temple, but arranged for Dragon Abyss Flood Dragon King to protect it in exchange for resources.
• After reaching the Golden Core Ninth Layer, Ling Pengyun defeated Old Mother Earth Flood Dragon and Old Golden Flood Dragon, then joined Hundred Spirits Old Daoist in destroying a three-headed evil ghost before the old cultivator died.
