At the thought of the War of the Ancients, the scene Roy observed suddenly began to shift.

Countless images twisted and blurred, like a world flashing past in an instant. When the image before his eyes became clear again, Roy saw an enormous planet.

Roy recognized it at once. It was Azeroth. Unlike the Azeroth he had seen before the time jump, a visible pillar of light was currently rising into the heavens from the planet. That was where the Well of Eternity was located.

Just as Roy wondered whether he was hallucinating and seeing Azeroth during Julia and Benia's ascensions, the scene before him suddenly changed again. His viewpoint pulled farther away, and he saw countless ferocious Starships floating in the space outside Azeroth. Roy had seen those vessels countless times before—they belonged to the Burning Legion.

Roy immediately realized that he was not hallucinating. He had truly "seen" a scene from the distant stars: the Burning Legion attempting to invade Azeroth.

The image before Roy changed again. This time, he saw scenes upon Azeroth itself. He saw many Night Elves settled around the Well of Eternity, as well as the exquisite palaces they had built.

The appearance of these Night Elves confirmed Roy's suspicions. He truly had crossed more than ten thousand years of time. The trolls that had once cautiously spied on the Well of Eternity had evolved into Night Elves under the influence of its magic.

Within the images, Roy saw the Night Elves' lives. He saw them fishing and hunting, teaching their children magic and combat techniques, and performing prayer rituals to Elune.

Then the images changed again, accelerating as though fast-forwarding. Roy saw a golden-eyed Night Elf—the Night Elf Queen Azshara. She wore lavish garments, followed by a large number of Highborne nobles. These
