Returning to Azeroth

After hearing Archimonde's words, Roy nodded without saying anything.

Roy understood perfectly well that during the more than twelve thousand years he had vanished from the timeline, the entire Burning Legion had been consolidated by Archimonde and Kil'jaeden. After realizing that Roy would not be returning, the demons who had once been willing to rally around him could only turn to Archimonde and Kil'jaeden instead. Having gained the authority to command the entire Legion, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden naturally lost any desire to contend with Roy. On the contrary, they had to avoid clashing with him again, because that could result in them being beaten up—or even killed—by Roy once more. If that happened, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden's prestige and dignity within the Legion would suffer a devastating blow.

Archimonde might have been rather reckless, but Kil'jaeden was a smart man. He had persuaded Archimonde to let go of his hatred over being killed by Roy, so it was no wonder Archimonde's tone had seemed so mild upon seeing Roy this time.
