On the television hanging in the emergency waiting room, a female anchor with black curly hair was reporting on the shocking bombing from two hours ago. By now, every channel and station was repeating similar coverage. After carrying the last injured elderly woman into the emergency room, Jay had remained floating outside the hospital's white brick walls, listening to the meaningless condemnations from all sides on TV.
