During the Primordial Era, the Big Dipper was regarded as a wild land. Both Human and Primordial inhabitants were said to have largely migrated there from other life-bearing ancient stars, with some Big Dipper humans sharing ancestry with Ziwei's human race. 377

In the current era, the Big Dipper is repeatedly shaken by conflicts between its major powers. The coordinated hunting of Holy Son- and Holy Maiden-level successors provoked outrage across the Eastern Wasteland, as the victims were considered the future foundations of their respective factions. 105 106
