All one billion players on Blue Star stopped at that instant, no matter what weapons they held or what monsters they were fighting.
Then a panel showing the event details appeared before everyone's eyes.

The moment the red text finished displaying, the World Channel feed froze.
For a full five seconds.
Then messages began flooding the screen.
"Three hundred thousand Lower Gods? Is that a typo? Not three hundred thousand monsters, but three hundred thousand gods?"
"What kind of defense battle is this? They're handing out rewards!"
"The Abyss Archlord Guild Leader Dragon Soar just killed was a Mid-Rank God, and that's how he advanced. Three hundred thousand gods? There's enough for everyone in our guild to get one!"
"Nobody steal mine! I'm going to kill them till they disconnect!"

He glanced at the Mid-Rank God rank he had just unlocked on his panel, then at the staggering number of enemy troops in the announcement.
Three hundred thousand.
Every one of them an Origin Deity with a Godhead.
