The Water God nearly laughed when he heard the old man.
He slung the Illusion Tide · Ice Abyss Scepter over his shoulder and turned to his three bodyguards.
"Gentlemen, this old man says he's taking your bodies. He even promises to leave us whole."
The bald bodyguard stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.
He had spent who knew how many ages trapped beneath an altar. He had finally seen daylight again and gained a body perfectly suited to Chaos Origin, only to run into a gang of half-human, half-beast Stitched Monsters trying to rob him.
"Trash who haven't even touched the threshold of the Void." The bald man spat. "When I was gnawing Chaos Beast bones in the Black Sea, you weren't even cells yet."
Fury flashed in the old man's one remaining eye.
"You have a death wish! How could you possibly comprehend the power of Chaos? Entire fleet, heed my command! Tear them apart! Strip those three higher-dimensional bodies from their bones!"
Hundreds of Fallen Deities poured from the warships, howling with voices that no longer sounded human.
Their Godheads had been completely assimilated by Chaos. Gray-white tentacles thrashed behind them as they unleashed corrupting attacks laced with starfield laws, blanketing the area.
Evergreen stood on the meteor, utterly calm, and opened the Sacred Codex of Reincarnation in his arms.
"Their Godheads are blackened beyond saving. Let's put them to rest the hard way."
His finger traced across a page.
"Judgment of Reincarnation: Vitality Deprivation."
