Luo Mu completed Azelf’s trial, took command of Team Galactic, and quelled several frenzied nobles while investigating the Time-Space Rift. The Lake trials led him to a dying Hisuian Zoroark and its Zorua, where he arrived just as a group of Sneasel and Weavile attacked them.

• Luo Mu trained the frightened Goomy to face its Alpha Hisuian Goodra father, and Goomy defeated it, became the clan’s leader, and evolved into Hisuian Sliggoo.
• Luo Mu passed Azelf’s trial, calmed the frenzied Land Forme, and gave the Earth Plate to Swampert, whose power exceeded its Mega Evolution.
• Luo Mu confronted Mazegama at Team Galactic headquarters, defeated his Pokémon, and placed Calyrex in disguise so Team Galactic would support the effort to quell the nobles.
• Luo Mu completed Uxie’s Lake Verity trial, then helped his Pokémon quell Kleavor, Sneasler, and Basculegion before helping Arcanine defeat Heatran and earn the Volcano Stone.
• Luo Mu and Pearly traveled to the Alabaster Icelands, where Luo Mu defeated Avalugg and Braviary and received a vision of a Hisuian Zoroark protecting a Zorua.
• Luo Mu followed Hamada and Pearly into Ice Pillar Cave, learned from Misdreavus that a hostile group was threatening the Forbidden Land, and evolved its leader into Mismagius.
• Zoroark and Zorua fought off the attacking Sneasel and Weavile until Victini opened a path with V-Create, and Luo Mu arrived with his Pokémon to protect them.

Luo Mu calmed the Hisui crisis, met Arceus, and returned to White Poplar Town, where Dialga and Palkia caused another disaster. After Luo Mu subdued them with the Golden Chain, he stayed in town while Mimikyu began training with Darkrai.

• Luo Mu restored Zoroark’s life force with Calyrex, completed Uxie’s trial, calmed the ten Kings, and used the Red Chain to stop Dialga and Palkia’s battle at Sinnoh Temple.
• Wanderer attacked with Giratina, but Luo Mu and his Pokémon defeated Giratina, and Mew gave Luo Mu the Sacred Flute and led him to Arceus.
• Arceus gave Luo Mu the Golden Chain, and Luo Mu returned to Hisui as the Time-Space Rift vanished and the clans made peace.
• Luo Mu returned to White Poplar Town, reunited Sazanami with his family, and helped Zhen Si train Chimchar while Alcremie competed in the Dessert Competition.
• Darkrai warned Zhen Si of an approaching crisis, then defended White Poplar Town when Dialga and Palkia appeared and fought above the Space-Time Tower.
• Luo Mu used the Golden Chain to subdue Dialga and Palkia, who restored the damaged town and revealed that several sacred objects had disappeared.
• Wanderer saw Luo Mu in town and abandoned his grudge, while Luo Mu left Mimikyu with Darkrai to train in Dark Void.
