"Boom! Boom!"

Clusters of flames struck the ground, golden fire surging into the sky and sweeping through everything around them, turning the area into a sea of golden flames.

Two flashes of light vanished in an instant, and Xie Xie and Zhang Yangzi disappeared from where they stood.

Under such a large-scale area attack, their defensive abilities were far too weak. On top of being stunned by the sound waves, they were directly teleported out.

Only five people remained on the field. Wang Jinxi had managed to escape disaster with his Bone Soul Conversion, though his pitch-black appearance was somewhat comical.

Upon receiving their leader's command, the Flame Demon Lions all charged toward Lin Xuan.

Lin Xuan's eyes lit up at the sight. He had just been considering how to charge headfirst into the lion pack, but he had not expected the Lion King to pull such a ridiculous move and leave itself exposed.

Lin Xuan shouted. Man and sword became one, transforming into a streak of silver sword light in midair as he slashed toward the distant Flame Lion King.

The Flame Lion King let out a low roar, terror in its eyes as it watched the horrifying sword light approach. It could smell a trace of death upon it.

How could it dare remain arrogant now? It hurriedly dispersed the clusters of golden flames gathered around it. Concentrating its Spiritual Power, it broke through Lin Xuan's will seal and turned to flee.

"Stars in the sky, bright and gleaming, forever shining, forever peaceful! Starlight, grant me your power!"

Xu Xiaoyan, who had been crouching as she followed behind, let out a soft chant. She raised the ice staff in her hand, drawing down a faint beam of golden starlight onto its tip.

At the tip of the ice staff, golden starlight gathered and formed a golden wheel of light containing a six-pointed star.

"Roar!"

The Century Flame Demon Lions also discovered Xu Xiaoyan's presence. Several balls of blazing fire shot from their mouths toward her.

On the other side, the Flame Lion King was held in place by the Starlight Chains. The silver sword light Lin Xuan had transformed into carried a razor-sharp edge as it plunged into its massive body.

A flash of white sword light streaked through the air, and Lin Xuan appeared behind the Flame Lion King.

"Boom!"

A thin black line appeared atop the Flame Lion King's head, gradually spreading across its entire body and splitting it in two. Its mountain-like body split apart from the center of its head and crashed down to either side.
