Solin looked up at Sto. Sto nodded slightly, and then Solin said, "All right, I'll have Sto send it to you. He's now the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Limen City."
"Your former deputy director?"
The person on the other end seemed to remember something.
"Yes."
Solin hurriedly nodded. "When you came last time, didn't I tell you that Limen City's situation was complicated and that I hoped to promote a local director?"
"I remember. I passed that suggestion along,"
the person on the other end said with a laugh. "Looks like those above also thought your suggestion was right."
Solin glanced at Sto beside him, about to nod in response and exchange a few pleasantries.
Then the person on the other end seemed to remember something and suddenly asked, "Since you're there, I happen to have something I need to ask you."
Hearing this, Solin immediately understood what the other party meant. He turned off the speakerphone, picked up the receiver, pressed it to his ear, and quickly said, "Go ahead?"
Sto picked up his chair and stepped back a few paces.
"Do you have anyone trustworthy at hand right now?"
A slightly hoarse voice came through the receiver and echoed in Solin's ear. "I'm afraid I need your help with something. It involves going deep into the wilderness. It'll be dangerous."

A tall man draped in a fur coat sat beside a roaring campfire. He looked up at the bright sky overhead. Slender tree trunks filled the expanse beneath the heavens, while the pure white Snowy Plains reflected dazzling light beneath the sun.
Around him, a scattering of modified off-road vehicles fitted with metal plates had been parked. Fur-wrapped figures moved back and forth between them.
Outside those off-road
