Background and History
Lüqiu Clan succession
Lüqiu Qingfeng was introduced as the Lüqiu Clan's Ninth Imperial Princess and the hidden financial backer of the Blood Flood Dragon Merchant Guild. The guild was among the private assets she relied upon amid her rivalry with her clan cousin, Lüqiu Jinyuan. 471 472
Seeking to remove Jinyuan from the succession struggle, she supplied Wei Tu with two taels of ancestral blood and promised the remainder within ten years. She secretly lied to her clan that she had already broken through, buying herself fifty years to enact her plan; in return, she required Jinyuan's corpse after his death. 562 563
Wei Tu ultimately killed Lüqiu Jinyuan. Qingfeng refined the pure-blood descendant's remains in seclusion and later emerged at the Nascent Soul Late Stage, ending Jinyuan's ability to challenge her position. 569 570 576
Alliance with Wei Tu
Qingfeng's initial relationship with Wei Tu was a calculated patron-and-retainer alliance. It became more cooperative after she warned him that her innate spirit eyes could see through his disguise and supplied ancestral blood for his body refinement. 562 563
As chief envoy of the Lüqiu Clan's Inner Ruins Sea delegation, she shared closely guarded intelligence with Wei Tu despite Lüqiu Yeming's instructions not to disclose it. The two jointly navigated the Extreme Mountain Sect's hostility toward the Lüqiu Clan and used Hall Master Luo's family crisis to seek political leverage. 608 609
When her planned Dao companionship with Dugu Tian threatened to bind her to Venerable Tong and the Lesser Vast Palace, Qingfeng abandoned that path. She publicly confessed guilt and chose Wei Tu's side, effectively seeking political protection from the Extreme Mountain Sect. 624 625 628
She subsequently became Wei Tu's Dao companion. Although this cost her standing within the Lüqiu Clan, she chose her cultivation prospects and alliance with Wei Tu over her prospective throne. 630 638
Spirit Transformation and bloodline transformation
Wei Tu temporarily lent Qingfeng the Purple-Cyan Branch, allowing her to elevate her bloodline to that of a pure-blood descendant. This advancement awakened her innate divine ability, Phoenix Flame. 642
During her Spirit Transformation tribulation, Qingfeng used the Azure-Faced Tortoise Shell to withstand blood-colored tribulation lightning. Rather than merely survive, she deliberately drew the remaining lightning into her body to further temper her bloodline. 722
The gamble transformed her from a pure-blood descendant into a half-true spirit, giving her the foundation to potentially reach the Void Refinement Realm. She later inherited Nine-Phoenix God cultivation knowledge, including a Spirit Transformation-grade escape art suited to her bloodline. 722 725
Revenge and flight from the Returning Ruins Sea
Qingfeng pursued Qi Yaoxian across the Great Flame Southern Region and used Immortal Phoenix Flame to burn away Qi Yaoxian's dharma body. She later fought Qi Yaoxian for a year, stalling and guiding her toward Wei Tu's intervention. 769 777 778
After Qi Yaoxian's death, Qingfeng inherited her resources and, following Wei Tu's guidance, looted the Goldspirit Sect and Long Whale Sect treasuries. Her rapid accumulation supported her advance to Spirit Transformation Middle Stage. 816 829
She also joined Mao Wenhan in pursuing Chi Fengtai, ultimately killing her after outpacing her along the Eastern Region coast. 816
When Venerable Tong and two other Spirit Transformation cultivators attempted to surround her on Seven Rock Island, Qingfeng escaped with her extraordinary speed and destroyed the spatial tunnel behind her to prevent pursuit. 817 818
Afterward, she captured Venerable Tong and began a prolonged punishment for his role in the destruction of her clan, poisoning him with Thorn Flower Poison and setting venomous insects upon his dharma body. 830
Ascension and later whereabouts
Qingfeng resolved to ascend independently rather than follow Wei Tu immediately, setting herself a twelve-hundred-year timeframe to become strong enough for the journey. Before their separation, Wei Tu gave her selected cultivation arts from Xuanling Fairy's inheritance. 838
While fleeing Purple-Faced Daoist, she entered a spatial rift and ascended to the Ancient Demon Realm. Her letter to Wei Tu urged him not to worry and expressed hope that they would meet again in the upper realm. 1066
In the Sky-Demon Realm, Qingfeng concealed her original identity and substantially altered her appearance, becoming known as Azure Phoenix. She continued pursuing cultivation opportunities, including those at the Ancestral Beast Sacred Land and the Hundred-Mound Mountain Range. 1154 1157
Appearance
Lüqiu Qingfeng is repeatedly noted for her beauty and noble bearing. Her bloodline is visibly expressed through crystalline phoenix wings and unusual eyes. 553 562 722

- Appeared silver-haired and red-eyed while facing Spirit Transformation lightning tribulation. 722

Personality
Qingfeng is pragmatic and politically alert. She was willing to stake rare ancestral blood, deceive her clan about a breakthrough, and arrange Lüqiu Jinyuan's death to protect her succession prospects. 553 563
She values capable allies and became increasingly receptive to Wei Tu's judgment, sharing state intelligence and accepting his strategic advice in the Inner Ruins Sea. 608 609
Her ambition is matched by a refusal to remain dependent on Wei Tu. She risked blood-colored tribulation lightning because she refused to become an ordinary Spirit Transformation cultivator or be left behind on his path. 722
