• Harry, Hermione, and Ron investigated Godric’s Hollow, escaped Voldemort’s ambush, and learned from Dumbledore’s portrait that the Diadem was hidden in the Room of Requirement and the Cup was likely in the Lestrange vault.
• Albert helped the Defense Association train and rescue persecuted wizards, while Neville and his friends rebuilt Dumbledore’s Army at Hogwarts.
• The Defense Association protected students on the Hogwarts Express, and Voldemort ordered his followers to hunt Harry while treating Albert as the greater threat.

The stretch ended with Albert placing Bogrod under the Imperius Curse as Fred’s transformation of Parkinson into a rat fueled new unrest at Hogwarts.

• Albert outmaneuvered Ludo Bagman and his accomplices in Hogsmeade, taking Goblin goods and rare materials while considering how to turn the Death Eaters against one another.
• Neville hid from Hogwarts’s Death Eaters, then joined Albert’s Defense Association, where Cedric promised to train him and prepare him to guide the students.
• Albert trained Harry to control Fiendfyre and helped the Order and Defense Association raid the castle, scattering Dementors and rescuing Ollivander and other prisoners.
• Voldemort searched for the Elder Wand and learned that Albert had rescued Ollivander, while Albert warned his allies against rushing into the trap surrounding Hagrid’s execution.

• Yaxley’s raid killed Borsival and devastated Hogsmeade, while foreign Dark Wizards later looted Death Eater homes and burned Yaxley’s manor.
• Albert led the Order of the Phoenix and the Defense Association in breaking into Azkaban, rescuing more than a hundred prisoners as the outsiders attacked Hogsmeade.
• Harry praised the breakout on the radio, while Kenneth and Cedric dealt with the deaths of twenty-eight wizards who had left a shelter despite warnings.

The arc left Harry resolved to face Voldemort, with Albert explaining how Harry might survive the killing curse and Ginny learning the truth about his plans.
