Yingying was originally Scholar Ying, one of the three leaders of Tiandao Academy's Dragon Taming Scholars. She possessed extraordinary perception of spirits and created the Spiritually Aware Dust-Avoiding Profound Connection Technique, a Spiritual Ability for connecting with spirits across worlds. 130 234

After dying, Ying attached herself to a book and became Yingying. Her memories were sealed by the demonic divine ability Yansheng, leaving blank pages in her book-form and preventing her from recalling her former life. 129
