Background

Huo Xuan was reborn into the Yan Clan after dying in his previous life, where he had been an orphan betrayed and murdered by a trusted companion. Initially detached from his new parents, Huo Zhen and Huo Xi, he gradually accepted their care and came to regard the Yan Clan as his true home. He swore to protect the clan and raise it to the pinnacle of the Eight Great Clans. 1

At age eight, Huo Xuan awakened a Ninth Grade Bloodline, a result described as unprecedented in the examiner's experience and potentially unmatched for nearly a millennium. Yan Jin consequently recognized him as the Yan Clan's Young Clan Leader. 2
