"Where is this?"
Vizet looked around and found himself in a completely unfamiliar scene. A trace of doubt rose in his heart.
Wasn't he doing his final cram session before the exam?
How had he ended up here?
Broken stones, rubble, and miscellaneous objects lay scattered across the floor. Huge gashes had been torn through the ceiling and walls.
The Fireplace not far away had also been blown apart, with Furnace Ash still swirling through the air.
Clearly, this was not his room, but a ruin.
Suddenly, a strange flood of memories surged forth and poured into Vizet's mind.
His predecessor had been a test subject of a Dark Wizard, forced to undergo all kinds of inhumane Dark Magic experiments.
Throughout the process, his predecessor had endured far too much pain and torment, developing an intense fear of magic and giving rise to a powerful Dark Magic force.
That had been the Dark Wizard's goal: to cultivate a controllable Obscurial. He had forgotten, however, that those who played with fire would eventually burn themselves.
His predecessor's Obscurus had erupted without warning, of its own accord.
It had not only destroyed the building, but had also torn the Dark Wizard into pieces...
After digesting these memories, Vizet understood one thing—
He had transmigrated!
He had transmigrated into the Magical World of "Harry Potter"!
Unfortunately, he had never read the original "Harry Potter" novels. He had only learned a very one-sided amount of information about names such as Luna, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Voldemort, and Dumbledore through various fan-made works.
As for the films, he had seen only one spin-off—"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
He did know more about that film.
The film had described the Obscurus: a powerful yet uncontrollable Dark Magic force.
Out of curiosity, Vizet urged the power of the Obscurus and swung it forward as though throwing a punch.
A burst of Black Mist shot out. The wall collapsed with a roar, sending dust billowing across the sky.
"How powerful!"
A furious emotion suddenly emerged and spread through Vizet's mind, making him want to destroy everything.
This was the drawback of the Obscurus.
Those who possessed an Obscurus were called Obscurials. The Obscurus would control them, causing them to lose control of their bodies and leaving behind only an intense desire to destroy.
Obscurials had extremely short lifespans. Aside from Credence in the film, there seemed to be no Obscurial who had lived past the age of ten.
After being altered through various Dark Magic experiments, his predecessor's adaptability to magic had long since become abnormal.
Combined with the Dark Wizard's deliberate efforts, this had allowed his predecessor to survive until the age of eleven without dying.
But Vizet could feel that this eruption was extraordinary. The Obscurus was currently devouring his mind.
Once his consciousness was completely occupied by the Obscurus, he might become the shortest-lived transmigrator in history.
The Dark Wizard's notes!
All kinds of methods for restricting the Obscurus had been obtained by the Dark Wizard from a notebook.
Vizet had to find that notebook and use the knowledge inside to control the Obscurus. Only then could he save his own life.
He floated in midair as the dust on the ground was blown everywhere, barely allowing him to see the scattered debris.
Just as he was carefully searching for the notebook, crisp popping sounds came from the air, and one vortex after another appeared out of nowhere.
Apparition!
His predecessor's eruption of the Obscurus had destroyed this place. It was only a matter of time before Wizards arrived; he just had not expected them to move so quickly!
Edward Murphy had once said: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
To Wizards, an Obscurus was as dangerous as a raging flood or savage beast.
In the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," when the Magical Congress discovered the existence of the Obscurus, they had immediately launched an attack and eliminated Credence.
Four Wizards appeared before Vizet, and things were developing in the worst possible direction.
They had no intention of waiting to see whether Vizet could recover. They all raised their Wands and assumed attacking stances.
"It's an Obscurus! Have the Auror Office send people over! This isn't something we can handle!"
The vortex appeared again, and one person left to notify the Auror Office.
The situation remained terrible. The three people left behind looked extremely tense, with beads of sweat the size of beans appearing on their foreheads.
"Protego!"
The three of them chanted the spell. Layer after layer of Magical Energy Field appeared, enveloping Vizet.
"Merlin's beard! How many years has it been since an Obscurus appeared?"
"Are we just going to stand around here? Shouldn't we do something else?"
"Don't act recklessly! Just keep the Obscurus contained! Wait for the Aurors to arrive, then attack together and avoid complications!"
The situation deteriorated further.
The three Wizards' intentions were obvious.
They had trapped Vizet here, planning to wait until they had enough people and then eliminate him in one fell swoop.
Vizet tried to communicate, but could only produce a howl like a raging gale.
If he used the Obscurus's power to break through the encirclement, the notebook would most likely be damaged by the force, and the Obscurus's erosion would accelerate as well.
There was only one path before him—
Find the notebook as quickly as possible, return to normal, and prove that he was not dangerous.
After searching for some time, his efforts finally paid off. An ancient Leather-bound notebook entered Vizet's field of vision.
What he found most peculiar was the Silver-Blue vortex floating above the notebook, spiraling upward.
The vortex seemed to notice his gaze and flew straight toward him.
The instant the vortex rose into the sky, the notebook turned to dust and vanished.
Before Vizet could react, the speeding vortex plunged straight into his mind.
"Wizard Combat Guide"
The notebook, which had turned to dust, revealed its name as it appeared in his mind and slowly opened to the first page.
A vast amount of knowledge entered his mind, gathering within his consciousness and forming wondrous characters.
"Guardian Meditation": Enhances magical affinity... gathers uncontrollable Negative Emotion... collects, stores, and seals emotions... transforms them into Ancient Magic Power...
In an instant, Vizet had mastered the Meditation Method. He immediately began meditating.
After entering a meditative state, everything around him became clear.
He could sense the Obscurus more fully and feel the extraordinary nature of this force...
His mind was like a gigantic vortex, absorbing, purifying, and transforming the Obscurus's power...
Everything seemed to be developing in a positive direction.
However, Edward Murphy had also said: If there is a possibility that things will get worse, no matter how small that possibility is, it will eventually happen.
Amid a dense series of popping sounds, one Wizard after another emerged from the vortices and surrounded Vizet.
"It really is an Obscurus!"
"The Statute of Secrecy has been in effect for so long. Why is an Obscurus still appearing?"
"Who cares? The priority is to eliminate the Obscurus and prevent it from causing further harm. Attack!"
The Wizards present raised their Wands. Magical Light gathered at their tips, powerful magic surged through the surroundings, and dust billowed once more.
The Wizards were on the verge of attacking. For Vizet, this was undoubtedly the worst possible moment.
Amid the swirling dust, a patch of firelight appeared out of nowhere, and an old man stepped out from within it.
The old man wore a Purple Robe decorated with gold trim. His silver hair and beard were long enough to tuck into his belt, and his bright blue eyes gleamed sharply behind his glasses.
Every Wizard present wore a look of astonishment. "Headmaster Dumbledore? Why are you here?"
