Lin Yingbin rubbed the back of his neck and stared intently at Ryuu Mufei. Then he assumed a sprinting posture and, in the very next instant, charged toward Ryuu Mufei. Because of how hard his feet stomped into the ground, cracks even appeared on the hard pavement.
"You really do have a few tricks up your sleeve~!"
"Psychic---Spear!!!"
Five translucent, spear-like objects appeared beside Ryuu Mufei. These long spears hovered around Ryuu Mufei, and then Ryuu Mufei flickered the fingers of his right hand. In an instant, the five spears created by psychokinesis shot together toward Lin Yingbin, who was charging at him.
Like an arrow leaving the string, they sliced through the air and produced a sharp whistle. Before this sound could dissipate, a burst of booming noise filled their eardrums, and Lin Yingbin miraculously vanished out of thin air.
No, that wasn't disappearing; he had dodged Ryuu Mufei's attack with a speed difficult for the naked eye to track. He fiercely stomped the ground, kicking up a small vortex of air. Following that, the five long spears pierced straight through that vortex and crashed directly into the ground, punching several holes into the pavement.
"Ryuseki!" The moment he discovered that Lin Yingbin had dodged, Ryuu Mufei roared Ryuseki's name.
Upon hearing Ryuu Mufei's shout, Ryuseki replied, "Understood!"
Then, right as Lin Yingbin was about to turn sideways and unleash a ferocious kick to attack Ryuseki, Ryuseki instinctively bent down over backward, thus causing Lin Yingbin's attack to miss completely.
"Heh~" Taking advantage of the moment before Lin Yingbin could retract his posture, Ryuseki grabbed Lin Yingbin's leg and hurled him violently up into the air.
This move was recently taught to me by my older brother, though I haven't tried out its power yet. One could only see qi begin to emanate from Ryuseki's entire body, wrapping around the range of both his hands in the form of a covering. Next, Ryuseki used both hands to make a grabbing gesture in the air, exerted his strength to pull hard, and then one could sense Ryuseki grabbing the air as if he were grabbing a canvas.
"Sorry, Lin Yingbin, I'm going to use you as an experiment for this move first."
Ryuseki dragged his air-grasping hands forcefully and twisted his body to spin in a circle, looking very much like a long-sleeved dancing girl performing a circle dance. Miraculously, the surrounding air actually began to flow in the direction Ryuseki's hands were dragging. In just a short few seconds, the flowing and rotating air formed a small whirlwind. And at this moment, Lin Yingbin was still falling from midair as that small whirlwind surrounded Ryuseki.
"Tornado!"
In an instant, the small whirlwind drove the surrounding air to flow, forming a tremendously powerful tornado storm. This fierce pillar of tornado wind rose high, forming a huge impact that launched Lin Yingbin—who had yet to land—flying back up into midair.
"You've got to be kidding me, your move is way too exaggerated!" Ryuu Mufei was shocked by this technique of Ryuseki's.
The tornado's attractive force and rotating centrifugal force tore at Lin Yingbin, and he was casually toyed with by the tempest like a cloth doll. Furthermore, surrounding objects were also swept high up into the air.
In midair, Lin Yingbin rose higher and higher. Because of the powerful forces all around him, he felt his body completely out of control. He looked laborantly at the dizzying surroundings and gritted his teeth, saying, "Wind?!" Clearly, he was still completely clueless and didn't know what on earth had just happened. As his elevation grew higher and higher, the upward suction grew smaller, and he was flung out of the eye of the storm by the powerful centrifugal force.
"Your move is way too ruthless, it'll get someone killed!" Ryuu Mufei quietly looked up at the sky and said to Ryuseki.
Ryuseki also answered with quite a bit of surprise, "I didn't think the power would be this strong either. If my older brother used this move, I'm afraid its power could rival a true disaster-class tornado!"
Afterward, he looked at the street impacted by his technique; it was simply a complete mess. Scattered debris was everywhere, and in some places even the wall tiles and plaster had been peeled off in large sheets, exposing the ugly cement wall surface. Some of the surrounding green vegetation was snapped right at the waist, and roof tiles had been blown away to goodness knows where, to say nothing of the clothes hanging on the balconies. Although Ryuseki said that if his brother used it, it could reach disaster level, the hazard he brought about this time wasn't light either.
"Jeez, I almost got killed by you guys. Who would've thought a tornado would actually get whipped up!"
Upon hearing these words, the two of them quickly looked toward the source of the voice, only to see Lin Yingbin unexpectedly crouching on the roof of the worst-hit house, looking down at the two of them.
"Aren't you still not dead yet?" Ryuu Mufei replied.
Lin Yingbin's gaze radiated wolf-like hostility, and the corners of his mouth curled up as if he were declaring that he was about to launch an attack.
"Have the two of you prepared yourselves to die?"
