The Creation Plot was a realm beyond description.
It could not even be called a "place." It was more like a "domain of perception."
Physics held no sway here, for there was no matter at all. There were only singularities.
Physics was utterly powerless here, and even mathematics could not truly explain this realm.
Here lay the answers to every ultimate question in legend: "What lies outside the universe?" "What was the world like before time was born?"
There was no spacetime, and there were no laws.
But that did not mean someone who forced himself to exist here would freeze in time or find his body at a standstill.
That was a mistaken assumption.
If time froze, time would still exist. If his body ground to a halt, laws such as mechanics would still exist.
Here, the very concepts of both had truly vanished.
With spacetime gone, how could time freeze?
In truth, once Yan Nu forced himself to exist here, his body no longer needed anything external to sustain its workings.
When he moved, he simply moved. His motion could no longer be described in terms of external time.
After Yan Nu resisted this place's tendency to "treat everything as a singularity," he seemed to pierce some boundary and cast off some constraint.
Everything he brought with him could still function, but nature no longer sustained it.
He was the source. He was the rules. He was his own whole world.
It was a wondrous state. Before this, people had always depended on nature, reality, and their surroundings to exist.
But in the "metaphysical" realm of the Creation Plot, every "physical" constraint was powerless.
This was where materialism met its end, and idealism found paradise.
He existed only for himself.
He was here because he was here.
