"Why?" Siegfried said, disappointed. "Don't you trust me?"

"Of course, I do," Li Pu said with a smile. "I trust your strength."

"But I feel like I have to deal with the Honkai Beasts while also guarding against you."

"I'll be worked to death."

Absolute lack of trust! Even though Siegfried appeared to not be bothering him anymore, Li Pu was sure this guy wouldn't give up that easily.

"I'm going to find Mei," Li Pu said. "You should hurry and change."

"Someone from the past?" Mei thought for a moment. "I see..."

"Then it might be very troublesome."

"Indeed," Li Pu agreed.

Should he try asking Otto? That guy should know something, right? But if he asked Otto, who knew if that guy would use this opportunity to dig a pit for him.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" Mei asked, seeing Li Pu lost in thought.

"N-no, nothing," Li Pu shook his head. "I'm fine..."

"Do you want to go into a dungeon?"

These three seemed to be the 'Big Three' of Honkai Impact 3rd.

They had the standard protagonist's destiny.

Chapter 73: An Unexpected Arrival

The search for those legendary weapons did not immediately become a priority.

After all, going into a dungeon isn't like playing a game. There are no cheat codes, no automatic log-outs if you disconnect, and certainly no way to retrieve your corpse or revive with crystals after dying.

Right now, there aren't many teams in St. Freya that can be deployed. Neither Otto nor Theresa would treat this as a one-and-done deal.
