Background and History
In his previous life, Tang San became the Sea God and Shura God and held a place among the Divine Realm’s Five God Kings. Huo Yuhao later betrayed him during a confrontation with the Golden Dragon King, destroyed his divine seeds, and took the Divine Seeds of Life and Destruction. Xiao Wu sacrificed herself to send a fragment of Tang San’s soul into the past, where he awoke as Tang Hao’s infant son in Holy Spirit Village 2 129.
Retaining memories and Tang Sect techniques from that life, Tang San grew up expecting to regain his former power. At his Spirit Awakening, he received Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass, then carrying the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, and the Clear Sky Hammer. He accepted Yu Xiaogang as his teacher chiefly because he believed Yu’s past connection to Bibi Dong could protect him from Spirit Hall 136 157 162.
Tang San initially resisted Yu’s plan to give Blue Silver Grass a venomous snake ring. He ultimately absorbed a Black Mamba Snake ring to cure Xiao Wu after she was bitten, gaining the disappointing Blue Silver Binding skill. Later, Bibi Dong tore the newly acquired Eight Spider Lances from his back, injuring him and damaging his potential. His attempt to inherit the Blue Silver Emperor position failed when his bloodline was stripped away, making further Blue Silver Grass cultivation much slower 165 168 169 195 199 276 277.
He then began adding rings to the Clear Sky Hammer. Brother Hai coerced him into accepting unsuitable Soul Beasts, leaving the hammer with three purple rings followed by a yellow fourth ring and several skills Tang San despised. Tang San’s appearance changes sharply after the loss of his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, exposing the effects of years spent forging under the sun. Later Soul Bone fusion turns all his hair vivid green 276 486.

He carefully manages how others see him. His public respect for Yu Xiaogang conceals a relationship he considers useful rather than affectionate; later, he openly threatens Yu in private while preserving their teacher–disciple image. His desire for Xiao Wu’s approval likewise drives choices in cultivation and competition, while her closeness with other men provokes jealousy 162 243 306 362 435.
