Background

Li Yuan is a transmigrator who arrived in the Primordial Chaos as a member of the Innate Human Race. He encountered Laozi while the saint was traveling among humanity, followed Xuandu into the Human Sect, and became one of Laozi's only two personal disciples. Laozi taught him the Supreme Clarity Profound Origin Art, a method leading directly toward the Grand Luo Dao Fruit. 1

Upon beginning cultivation, Li Yuan awakened the Diary System. His first diary reward was the Pangu Physique, which radically transformed his aptitude and caused his cultivation to surge. His diary—containing his knowledge of Primordial Chaos events and his own experiences—was also received by Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian. 1

Li Yuan retained ties to the Human Race after joining the Human Sect.
