Personality

Duobao is outspoken, impulsive, and competitive. He readily draws his sword against unknown threats, challenges Guangchengzi openly, and even tries to surpass Tongtian at public events 24 135 169. His bluntness frequently creates trouble: he proposes killing Dong Wanggong for his treasures, exposes Xuandu's embarrassing secret, and once mistook Tongtian for an impostor in a group chat 25 68 168.

He is also intensely curious, repeatedly asking Li Yuan about unfamiliar concepts until Li Yuan calls him a “ten thousand whys” type 26. Tongtian considers his disciple's cultivation reliable but his judgment poor, warning him not to overuse his brain 12.

At the Sky-Opening Abyss, Duobao destroys his collected treasures—including the Heaven Swallowing Demon Jar—to forge the Dao of all treasures returning to one 344.
