History

Bibi Dong's early rule is constrained by internal divisions. Although she holds the title of Pope, the Worship Hall refuses to support her proposed Martial Soul Empire, and even the Hall of Elders initially offers her limited obedience. 3

Bibi Dong secures the Worship Hall's reluctant agreement to have Thousand Jun and Demon Subduing Douluo guide her new disciple, Ye Xiaobao. Their shared Coiled Dragon Cudgel Martial Souls make them suitable instructors for his staff-type Golden Cudgel. 8 9

Spirit Hall later expands through military action and political alliances. Ye Xiaobao directs the assault on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, deploying 8,000 Soul Masters and four elders, including two Rank 95 Titled Douluo. 31 He subsequently negotiates with Ning Fengzhi for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to cooperate in establishing the Martial Soul Empire. 57

The organization publicly issues the “Five Cardinal Sins” against the Clear Sky Sect and forms the coalition codenamed Heaven's Punishment. 61 Its allied army, numbering roughly 20,000 Soul Masters, marches on the Clear Sky Sect. 80

Following the Clear Sky Sect's destruction, Spirit Hall becomes the dominant force in the Soul Master world, though Tang Hao and Tang San escape. 92 The victory also intensifies its internal conflict: four Worships attempt to apprehend Bibi Dong and remove her as Pope on Qian Daoliu's orders. 90 91 After Ye Xiaobao defeats Qian Daoliu in a mental confrontation, Qian Daoliu orders the Worship Hall sealed and instructs its members to remain out of Spirit Hall's affairs. 110
