Xue Luochuan conceals his ambition beneath courteous behavior. Unwilling to accept a future as a prince without real authority, he seeks allies capable of challenging Xue Qinghe’s advantage in the succession. Although he outwardly accepts his father’s warning that power must be granted rather than seized, he privately believes the throne is won through risk and victory over rivals 24 36 47.

The brothers acknowledge their competing ambitions and toast an understanding that the stronger contender should prevail 24.

Bai Wanwan’s earlier intervention prevents Qian Renxue from infiltrating the imperial family. Consequently, Luochuan, Qinghe, and Haicang remain alive at this point despite having died in the original storyline 24.

Encounter with Bai Wanwan and Qian Renxue

A guard brings Luochuan to a street stall after Moxiong knocks Xue Beng unconscious for harassing Bai Wanwan. Expecting an ordinary dispute that imperial prestige can settle, Luochuan instead encounters a Titled Douluo protecting the two women. He publicly slaps and rebukes the guard, signals him to leave, and remains at a safe distance 26.

Once Moxiong withdraws his pressure, Luochuan pays the meal bill, bows to the group, and apologizes for his younger brother. Reports of Bai Wanwan’s disappearance and death, followed by Qian Renxue’s departure, weaken Luochuan’s position.
