Background

Gu Yue arrived in Eastsea City after the Silver Dragon King split herself to preserve her main personality. Yu Nanyuan identifies Gu Yue and Na'er as the two personalities created through this division. A black-robed man and his followers refer to her as “Master.” 37 41

She initially appeared at Eastsea Academy as a mysterious transfer student and sought admission under Wu Zhangkong. She was placed in Freshman Class Five pending his approval. 41

Gu Yue recalled the prophecy, “Origin and End Shall Cycle Without Cease,” which links her destiny to Tang Wulin’s. 43
